Renjo La Pass Gokyo valley trek begins with a 35-minute mountain flight to Tenzing-Hillary airport (2860 m). Daily itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu international airport receiving by your trek guide with fresh wreath then transfer to your hotel. Your trek guide stays standby at the airport with your name on the signboard. After arriving the hotel have own time until official meeting an evening.

Early in the morning drive to Domestic terminal of Tribhuvan international airport then board on a small plane to Lukla. Savoring the mountain panorama and diverse landscapes throughout the flight journey. You will be a thrilling landing experience in Lukla airstrip. We collect the luggage, we walk through the forest and villages to Phakding. A colorful trail to Phakding village is mostly descending downhill, and enjoy the stunning view of the lush green valley below high mountains. After arriving Phakding village short side trek to a nearby monastery and remote Sherpa village, Thulo Gumela.

The exciting day of Renjo La pass and Gokyo Valley Trek, the trek starts from Phakding and easy climb by the riverside of the thrilling milky river. We enter to Sagarmatha national park and checking Renjo La and Gokyo valley trek permits bypassing Manjo village. Afar Sherpa settlement Jorsalle village trek through lush rhododendron and pine forest to Namche Bazar with thrilling experience crossing tallest suspension bridge of the Everest Trekking. Acclimatization day in Namche Bazar and doing short side trek to Everest view hotel for better acclimatization with the surrounding atmosphere. The Everest view hotel is the first luxurious hotel in Khumbu and it was established in 1971. There is a 12-deluxe room that offers a magnificent view of Mount Everest and Ama Dablam.
We leave Namche town with a hard climb up on the stone-stair trail, the journey provides a canvas view of Namche Bazar then passing Syangboche airstrip which probably highest altitude airport in the world. Almighty Everest appears in front of us to Everest view hotel. We then trek downhill to the large Sherpa settlement Khumjung and Khunde village. This village product a lot of the potatoes and the vegetable that supplies to the lodges during the peak trekking season. The traditional Buddhist, monastery built above the village on the huge rock and interesting Buddhist fortress. In the evening have stunning sunset on Mount Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru.

The trek towards to Renjo la pass and Gokyo valley on the alpine and mountainous terrain. After Thamel village passing temporally human settlement along the Bhote Koshi River and still following the Nepal-Tibet trader route till Dingjung village east bank of the stream via Nangpa-La pass (5,805 m). This is a completely less touristic area, the wilderness valley that exposes rare highlander wild animals and some species of the Himalayan herbs. Now then gentle climbing up on the large yak grazing pasture to Lunden with admiring exceptional mountain vista. Lunden has about 5 basic lodges and it only opens during the peak trekking season unless informing them while heading up.

The toughest and longest trek day of Renjo La Pass and Gokyo valley trek, the hike starts early in the morning after breakfast with sufficient drinking water. From the steeply climbing up on the hill then walk aside of tiny pond below the Renjo La pass. The path to Renjo la is steeply up on the stone-stair it still enough wide. On arrival top, it provides mind-blowing scenery of the glaciers and mountains namely Maklu (8,485 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Everest (8,848 m), Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Cholatse (6,440 m), Taboche (6,367 m), Gyangchung (7,952 m) with together turquoise Gokyo Lake and Ngozumpa glacier. After capture photos and relishing the magnificent view following the steady downhill trail to Gokyo Lake, the lodge is located eastern bank of the Dudh Pokhari.

Extra day in Gokyo Lake is enough to explore the wilderness glacier valley afar the Dudh Pokhari. Side trek to Ngozumpa Ri is a great opportunity to appreciate the glacier, lake and close sights of icefall and Himalayas. Day tour to Ngozumpa Ri takes around 7-8 hours round trip but it is a completely worth trip for the adventure seekers. Leaving from the lodge with plenty of drinking water and pack lunch for the day.
We have early breakfast in the morning then hike starts on the moraine of Ngozumpa Glacier bypassing blue and green fourth and fifth Gokyo Lake on walled mountains valley. The trail is fairly easy till 5th Gokyo Lake then a steep climb up on the mountains with the backdrop view of the large glacier and all the Gokyo Lake. The terminal of the route is rocky and the summit makes the trip worth with offer the best view of Cho Oyu, sixth Gokyo lake, Icefall, and turquoise lake. After the taken picture and relishing a long way back to Gokyo Lake overnight.

Gokyo Ri (5360 m) and Renjo La pass offer a similar view but Gokyo Peak is the iconic and milestone of this trek. So Gpkyo peak located the ridge above the Gokyo Lake, it takes 2-3 hours uphill trekking for the average walker. We will have a great time on the Gokyo Ri summit then return to the lodge then trekking descend on the moraine of the glacier and passes along the second and first Gokyo Lake to Machhermo village. We resume trek down to Dole on the meadow where often see yak, musk deer, mountain Tahr and Himalayan Monal.

A trail led downhill into the dense rhododendron and pine forest to Phorte Thanga, often spots Lophophorus Impejanus. We then climb to Mong La pass, you will have a picturesque view of Tengboche Monastery yard of mount Ama Dablam. We keep descend on the hills, the trail exposes diverse landscapes and Himalayas to Kyanjuma village. We see more tourists here because we joint the Everest base camp trek route. Further trek on the level path with passes Buddhist sites Chorten, Stupas, Mani wall, Praying wheel and sculpture rock to Namche Bazar.

On the last stage, your Renjo La Pass trek, heading back to Lukla village where we catch the Kathmandu flight. Mostly walking downhill with crossing several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. Before exit from Sagarmatha national park at Manjo village get the last glimpse of Almighty Mount Everest a few hundreds meter down from Namche. We leave Milky River behind us from Ghat then ascend to Lukla village throughout the Sherpa hamlet and little forest.

In the morning short walk to Tenzing Hillary Airport, Lukla. We take an earlier flight to Kathmandu, a 45-minute Lukla to Kathmandu flight considers as scenic flight. It offers Ariel Mountain view and meandering river with colorful diverse landscapes of the countryside. On arrival Kathmandu airport transfer to your hotel.
