Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is easiest and one of the best seller treks all throughout the year in Annapurna region. The journey gives you an opportunity to walk through and explore the life of different ethnic groups of Nepalese people. Then you can collect lifetime experience to walk through dense blooming rhododendron forest, encounter wild Apes monkey and different short of birds, hear the roaring of barking deer in the middle of a jungle and by the time you reach Ghorepani. The journey starts from the city of God & Goddess, Mystery, Kathmandu valley. The scenic drive on Prithvi highway and 3hrs raft on the Trishuli river give you more exciting in your voyage. Then we reach a second touristic city, Pokhara where the city is over-looking by lakes and Himalayas and our driving continues to Nayapul. The trek starts from Nayapul, trekking trail ascending reverse of Burangi river passing beautiful landscapes, multi-culture diversity and walking throughout a pleasant dense forest of rhododendron to Gorepani then Poon Hill. Poon Hill, It provides breathtaking sunrise views of Himalayas on 270º degree. Covering Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna range, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare and numerous other mountains. The first sun ray of day golden color goes in the highest peaks on among the other peaks is spectacular. 
The treks lead you through the different ethnic group's villages and get a taste of different cultures. Explore the villages of Gurkhas, the Gurkha regiments and typical villages of Gurung people. Trek descending follow the Mardi river to Nayapual. Drive back to Pokhara.

Daily itinerary

As per schedule, we are receiving you from your hotel after breakfast, then drive begins on Kali Gandaki corridor till Nayapul and drive continue on a rugged bumpy road along Burungi river to Ulleri village. On arrival, Ulleri village trek starts with a stone-stair climb up inside the village then stopping along en route for the breathtaking view of mountains and landscapes. The route stretch-out in dense rhododendron forest with getting a glimpse of birds and wildlife to Ghorepani. Upon arrival at your lodge at Ghorepani, you will have a panoramic mountain view of Annapurna Himalayan range and Mount Dhaulagiri. In 5/6 hours trekking from Ulleri to Ghorepani, approximately 900 m altitude gain.

Early morning side trek to Poon Hill viewpoint to see sunrise on the Annapurna massif, Dhaulagiri and several other mountains. It is around 50-min walk in the morning, the Poon Hill route contains stone-stair path inside the tall and dwarf rhododendron forest. Poon Hill Viewpoint, most beautiful hill station to observe snowcapped mountains. Enjoy to see stunning Mountain View of western Nepal approximately 20 mountains. From Poon Hill trek back to Ghorepani then after delightful breakfast, the trek resume which contains gentle uphill and descends thru heavy rhododendron forest to Tadapani via Banthanti. The route offers a wide range of landscapes on foot of mountain range, also passing a couple of local tea shops were stopping for lunch. Tadapani village, around 8 basic tea house are available which is surrounded by tall rhododendron forest.

After breakfast trek starts descending into the mixed vegetation forest with enjoying a close view of Machhapuchhare, Annapurna south, Hiuchuli and numerous of another snow peak. Around 3 hours hike brings us Ghandruk village where we can do Gurung culture excursion including visit local museum after that around 4 hours' drive to Pokhara.
