Pashupatinath temple

Kathmandu durbar square
Kathmandu durbar square one of the important monument in Kathmandu, once upon a time the king ruled the country from here and the present day it is widely known as the house of the living goddess Kumari and home of the Newari architecture. The Hindu goddess Kumari believed to be female spiritual energy and living traditional three storey house with impressive wooden carved in the windows and door.
The complex has full of temples with traditional Nepalese architecture some of the cherished temple brunts by a late earthquake. Few temples has been reconstructed and some of the under-construction and also restoring the ancient architecture. The temple and architecture are from 17th/18th centuries.
Great big bell can see next to the Bhairav statue, the bell rang during the special occasion of worship because it said the sound of the bell drive-out the evil spirits from the town. Kala Bhairab, the huge image speaks one of the terrifying faces of Lord Shiva with six arms as well as wearing a garland of demon skulls. Tribhuvan Museum another beautiful area to visit in Hanuman Dhoka, most of the museum is under renovation after the earthquake but still can do tour one side where can see details of the shah dynasty from first to the last king.  

Swayambhunath Stupa
The entire complex is embellished with flapping Buddhist prayer flags and praying wheel as well as several monasteries. Also can see a lot of the statues of Buddha and stupas around, a lot of the monkey live here. Swayambhunath stupa is one of the must-visit places in Kathmandu valley, it is blended religious sites of the Hindus and Buddhists. The main attraction of the complex is a whitewashed dome with a gilded spire with four faces Buddha. The clear view of Kathmandu can see with the panoramic Mountain View of Ganesh Himal and Langtang Himal.
Amideva Buddha Park laying north of the main temple and is constructed in 2003, it features three gigantic gold-gilded statues of 67 feet tall Shakyamuni Buddha, 64 feet tall Chenrezing, and 64 feet tall Guru Rinpoche also called Guru Padmasambhava.

Boudhanath Stupa
Most beautiful Buddhist sites in Kathmandu also called mini Tibet so many Tibetan live around here. The large whitewashed Buddhist dome is the highlights of the Bouddha. 13 tiered dome dominates the blue sky and the entire region. The front face of the stupa can see mark like nose that actually Nepali number one also significant of unity. And above is the third eye of Buddha that signifying enlightenment. We see many Buddhist people are doing kora with holding Tibetan beads and praying wheel on the hand also chanting sacred Buddhist mantra Om Mani Padme Hum simply means Hail to the Jewel in the Lotus. Climb to the roof of the monastery and take a picture of the stupa with fluttering five color Buddhist flags. Also, you can visit several other interesting monastics nearby.
