It is a short trek in Annapurna region which can be done in minimum 6 days but can extend to Khopra and Khayer Lake or Poon Hill, Annapurna base camp or Jomsom Muktinath as well. Mahare Danda Nagi trek is completely off the beaten trek in the Annapurna region where only community lodge and home-stay accommodation are available with basic facilities. Daily itinerary

The first day of your Mohare Danda trek, a drive begins from your hotel Lakeside Pokhara then 2 hours' drive ends up Nayapul. Nayapul is the junction of most of Annapurna trekking. From here descending into the villages and rice terrace then cross a suspension bridge over Modi river and get breathtaking sights of Mt. Fishtail. Upon crossing Iron Bridge, a trail leading steeply up throughout the villages and cultivate the farm, it will be beautiful trekking with a view of diverse landscapes and mountain above the valley.

The trek starts after breakfast, it is a colorful trail which let you experience authentic Nepalese culture and along the wild flowering forest. The trail mostly flattens throughout the villages hardly see any other tourist and get a massive view of Mount Dhaulagiri and unmatched landscapes of Kali Gandaki valley.

We are heading to popular Nagi village, the birthplace of Mahabir Pun also well-known for the community hospitality. Mr. Pun was Magsaysay awarded in 2007 of community work of wireless internet services.
From Lespar walking out with climbing up into the rhododendron forest and Magar villages also pass Sailaja village, another attractive Magar village. After here follow flatten trail alongside the villages to Nagi village. Here accommodation is better than previous nights also enjoy to use free internet.

From Nagi village steady climbing up through-out Mahare Danda (3,330 m), we follow the uphill path inside the dense forest till Hampal Jaljala. We stop for the lunch in the small tea shop then trek continues with viewing Annapurna mountain range. The walking process into the bamboo shrubs where often spot the different types of Himalayan birds. Mohare Danda is set on the highest ridge among, you will be rewarded with stunning sunrise and sunset mountain panorama of Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri.

One of the beautiful day on your Mohare Danda journey, here your day begins with an incredible sunrise view of the three highest mountains out of fourteen and several surrounding snowcapped peaks. You will see close mountain panorama more than 20 snowcapped mountains and wider landscapes diverse.
After breakfast trek continues on downhill throughout the thick rhododendron forest also passes two beautiful lakes where can see spectacular images of Himalayas. The trail is solid downhill and passing yak and sheep grazing area also stop at Phulbari. The entire trail is completely colorful from February to May because of the blossoming of different color of rhododendron. 6 hours solid downhill trek brings us Tikot village, a traditional village of Magar people and can see mount Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South on the forehead. In Tikot village, your accommodation arranging on home-stay based and eating your meals in the community house.

The last day of Mohare Danda trek, walking downward to Tiplyang village then 4 hours' drive to Pokhara via Beni. It is 3 hours steeply downhill trek into the mixed vegetation forest and along the Kaligandaki River to Tiplyang village. Upon arrival, Tiplyang takes a bus or jeep to Beni then from Beni Bazar change bus to Pokhara.
