Daily itinerary

An early morning short drive to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport then board into the small plane. After breakfast trek begins from the lodge, we have the option route to reaching Namche Bazaar. Lukla airport is known as one of the most dangerous airports in the world because it has a short airstrip and is located in the mountain. Also, the airport is dangerous because of located on slopes uphill with a gradient of more than 12%. As the Tenzing Norway airport is surrounded by mountains very common weather forecasts might delay or cancel the Lukla flight. That’s the reason we advise keeping buffer days into your Everest base camp trek itinerary. That gives less risk absent your international flight from Kathmandu.
