Daily itinerary
Day 01 Kathmandu to Phakding (2,670 m/8,757 Ft)

An early morning short drive to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport then board into the small plane. A 45-min flight is a complete scenic journey that provides Ariel Mountain View and dotted villages with together meandering scenery of the countrysides. The flight land at Airstrip at Lukla where meet up with guide and porter and tied your shoe-string and leg-off to Phakding.
The first day of the hike passes terraced farmland, Sherpa villages, Teashops, Buddhist sites (Chorten, stupa and monasteries), forest and scrubs also crossing the suspension bridge to Phakding Village. Lukla to Phakding walking route contains short descend and gentle climbing-up a side of Dudh Koshi River on foot of the Mount Kusum Kangaru.

Day 02 Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,450 m/11,316 Ft)

After lunch Jorsalle and take a picture at picturesque Hillary Bridge then steady climbing into the pine and rhododendron forest to Namche Village. Day 03 Acclimatization Day Namche Bazar

Acclimatization at Namche Village, Namche Bazaar is a fabulous place easily day out. You may spend time at luxurious coffee shops, snooker/pool house, shopping (handicraft, fruits, nuts, and trekking gears) and visit Sherpa museum and Sagarmatha national park headquarter. Great to see a weekly market, lower villager come to sell their home products at prosperous Sherpa village, Namche Bazaar.
You also have an option, day hike to Hotel Everest View, it is a half-day trip and climbing around 400 above Namche. From Everest view hotel the hike extends to colorful Khumjung and Khunde Village. Also can do a full day side trek to Thame village, prosperous Sherpa village of Mount Everest climber like Tenzing Norgay, Apa Sherpa, Ang Rita Sherpa, Kami Rita Sherpa, etc.
Day 04 Namche Bazaar to Tengboche Monastery (3,840 m/14,745 Ft)

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche monastery trek is the most beautiful walking during the 12-days Everest base camp trek. Day 06 Acclimatization Day at Dingboche

Second acclimatization/rest day on the Everest base camp trek, you have an option for a spare day either hike to Dingboche/Nangkartsang Viewpoint right above the village or few hours day trips to Chukung Village. Also possible to hang-out around the village. We highly suggest climbing Dingboche/Nangkartsang viewpoint as far as your body takes it. It stands at 5000 m above the sea level, the ridge offers breathtaking mountain panorama including Ama Dablam, Mount Makalu, Island Peak also embraced wider alpine valley.
Day 07 Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910 m/16,104 Ft)

Kala Patthar 'Black Mount' stands 5645 m above sea level and it offers a closed view of the massive Mount Everest above the large Khumbu glacier. Day 10 Periche to Namche (3,450 m/11,316 Ft)

After breakfast trek begins from the lodge, we have the option route to reaching Namche Bazaar. Lukla Flight
Lukla airport is known as one of the most dangerous airports in the world because it has a short airstrip and is located in the mountain. Also, the airport is dangerous because of located on slopes uphill with a gradient of more than 12%. As the Tenzing Norway airport is surrounded by mountains very common weather forecasts might delay or cancel the Lukla flight. That’s the reason we advise keeping buffer days into your Everest base camp trek itinerary. That gives less risk absent your international flight from Kathmandu. If due to the weather forecast Lukla flight is delayed or canceled, there is an option taking a private/shared helicopter. Then also possible drive from Thamdanda to Kathmandu in 18 hours.
Everest Base Camp Trek Season
