Lobuche peak (6119 m) is another popular trekking peak in Nepal where several hundreds of adventure folk hold the personal record with reaching the summit. Daily itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding (2650 m)

Early morning drive to Kathmandu domestic airport for the Lukla flight. The 35-minute flight takes us to Tenzing Hillary airport, one of the thrilling domestic airports in Nepal. The airport set on the bottom of the rugged mountain. From airport short walk to the local lodge and then the porter figure-out the backpack. A trek begins with descending throughout colorful Sherpa villages till on riverside. The trail gently climbs up a side of wild glacier river with passes Ghat to Phakding. Your first-day trek will happily end with unmatched sceneries of lush and green Khumbu valley. The first day of trek takes approximately 3/4 hours and distance cover 9 km.
Day 02: Phakding - Monjo - Namche Bazar (3450 m)

Phakding to Namche Bazar hike will be roughly 6/7 hours trekking, the trail contains gentle and steeply up throughout the villages and into a mixed vegetation forest. Day 03: Rest and Spare day in Namche Bazar

The extra night at Namche bazaar will definitely help you lot acclimatize in the alpine zone. We design half day side trek and again few hundred-meter altitudes. A day trek to Everest view hotel will be approximately 4 hours fro and to Namche Bazaar. On your hike to Everest view hotel, the scenery changed dramatically including vivid landscapes, mountains, and cultural excursion. Evening trek back to Namche Bazar for overnight.
Day 04: Namche Bazaar Mong La - Dole (4100 m)

2 nights at Namche Bazar definitely feel better to go further-up, after breakfast walk-out from Namche Bazar, follow Everest base camp trek main trail till Kyanjuma after that follow branch trail ascending on yak pasture. The trail is pretty busy till the junction with the stunning view of surrounding landscapes and massive mountains. Further trail continuous on a small path with ascending up to Mong-La, in this section often see Danphe (national bird of Nepal), mountain goat, spotted deer, and musk deer. Mong-la village offers a stunning view of mount Ama Dablam and picturesque Tengboche monastery in the bottom. Remaining path to Dole hamlet goes throughout short rhododendron forest. Day 05: Dole - Luza - Machhermo village (4470 m)

The route to Machhermo is fairly gently up on yak meadow and most of time encounter yaks. Day 06: Machhermo - Gokyo Lake (4790 m)

Entire trail to fifth Gokyo Lake is mostly flat and enjoy to see gigantic Ngozumpa glacier. Upon crossing the firth Gokyo Lake instead of onward follow an upward route to go, Ngozumpa Tse, the trail is steeply up on nugget trail, a trail offers 360-degree mountain view including close sights of Mount Cho Oyu, Mount Everest, Lhotse and Makalu with numerous of other unclimbed peaks. Also, the best viewpoint to admire the view of the largest Himalaya glaciers, Ngozumpa glacier and additional view of five turquoise lake out of six lakes. After reached peak trek back to lodge at Gokyo Lake for overnight.
Day 08: Gokyo Lake - Gokyo Ri (5357 m) - Dragnag (4800 m)

Gokyo Ri, consider the best viewpoint in the Everest region and the best time to be there to see glorious sunrise and sunset on the Himalayas. We advise making your way to Gokyo peak in the morning because mostly the morning weather is better than any other hours in the day. The trail to Gokyo peak is steeply up on the ridge and it takes around 2/3 hours from a lodge. Highlights of Gokyo Ri path is magnificent mountain vista along with turquoise Gokyo lake and huge glacier valley. From the Gokyo summit, you will be surprised to see four mountains above 8000 m out of 14 world highest peaks. You can have enough time to take a snapshot then trek back to the guesthouse. After delightful breakfast recommence trek onto the glacier to Dragnag which takes around 3 hours to complete day trek. So after room check-in take a rest and prepare for Cho La pass for the next day.
Day 09: Dragnag - Cho La Pass (5420 m) - Zonglha Village (4800 m)

Roughly the trek begins 5: 00 am and since morning climbing up on the meadow, pebble, rock to rock and icy section to Cho la pass summit. Day 10: Zonglha - Lobuche (4910 m)

After complete Cho La pass, you deserve short and easy day and we design short trek to Lobuche village, around 3/4 hours stroll with mostly descending. Day 11: Lobuche - Everest base camp (5364 m) - Gorakshep (5180 m)

Awaited day in your Lobuche peak climbing and Cho La pass trek because visiting Everest base camp. We eat an early breakfast then leaving from lodge around 7:00 am. The first phase of a trek to Lobuche pass is pretty easy on nice moraine of Khumbu glacier. A leftover path to Gorakshep is comparatively small onto the pebble moraine also busy because of the so many trekker's passes. The view of harsher Khumbu glacier and towering mountains make your walk worth it. Once arrive Gorakshep keep a room and store luggage after lunch Everest base camp day trek begins with sufficient drinking water with energy bars. Day 12: Gorakshep - Kalapatthar (5650 m) - Lobuche (4910 m)

Kalapatthar (black stone) is the best viewpoint to see Mount Everest, leaving early morning to Kalapatthar to see the best view of the surrounding mountain range. It is very important should reach Kalapatthar summit before sunrise, the sun rising right behind Mount Everest. But you will see an amazing sunrise on other mountains than Everest. The road to Kala Patthar is steeply up on the ridge, the Kalapatthar journey offers a grand view of Khumbu glacier and the lovely setting of mountains. We recommend windbreak equipment's and trekking pole for steeply dawn trail also must check your camera and mobile batteries before finale set-off to Kalapatthar. After admiring the natural beauty trek back to lodge and enjoy a hot and delicious breakfast with a hot drink. After while restart trek to Lobuche which is only 3 hours trek on the glacier.
Day 13: Lobuche - Lobuche Peak High Camp (5500 m)

The Lobuche peak high camp route contains flat and uphill on the rock over the ridge, level trail continuous till Lobuche peak base camp then climbing up on the barren ridge with a gorgeous view of Mount Ama Dablam, Taboche, Cholatse, Nuptse and Khumbu glacier. It is 4/5 hours trek to reach Lobuche high camp. Our camping crew set a tented camp and prepare hygienic meals (break/Lunch/Dinner with a hot drink). After lunch, the climbing guide will teach you climbing technique with necessary climbing gear which will be useful for climbing over the Lobuche peak. You will have early dinner and set early bed because peak climbing starting early morning.
Day 14: Lobuche Peak High Camp - Lobuche Peak Summit - Lobuche (4910 m)

Awaited day of Lobuche peak climbing trip, for normal pace climbers needs around 5/6 hours to reach Louche east crest and also returning back from the summit before afternoon. Day 15: Lobuche - Dingboche - Pangboche - Tengboche (3870 m)

Essential Information
Lukla Flight
So Lukla flight is one of the highlights in Everest region trek as 527 m runway Tenzing-Hillary airport set above Dudh Koshi River and the airstrip is walled by the mountain. Most of the time Lukla flight has been disturbed by the weather forecast, the flight might be a delay for a day or canceled for a couple of days. Therefore we suggest you be prepared well before departure from home with keeping some spared day in Kathmandu after Island peak climbing.
In case regular Lukla flight is bothered by bad weather then other options on hand fly with private helicopter to Lukla. We organize Kathmandu to Lukla heli tour upon on your request and it cost approximately U$$300/500 per person.
Lobuche peak climbing accommodation
We arrange basic twin sharing bed accommodation on Lobuche peak climbing journey with allocation toilet, both Asian/squat and English toilet is an option. You will accommodate 2 person dome tent at Lobuche peak base camp with kitchen crew. Most of the room have clean twin/triple bed with window and the sufficient light for the dark.
Meal idea for Lobuche Peak Climbing
You are allowed to choose any meals from menu cart where a bunch of foods is mention like rice, potatoes, noodles, soup, bread, macaroni, spaghetti, eggs with local meals.
Physical entails and experience requires for Lobuche peak climbing
Other than Lobuche peak summit, it is ordinary high altitude trek containing steeply descending and steady ascend in high altitude. Lobuche peak is slightly tougher than close distance Island peak. However, any of adventure travelers and novice climber can submit Lobuche peak climbing form. Still the participate should be fit by physical with a good health condition.
