Daily itinerary

Our airport representative will be waiting for you, the arrival gate of the Tribhuvan international with your name on the signboard. Then transfer to your hotel, it about 20-30 minutes' drive to your hotel. After room check-in have a leisure time.

In the morning your guide receiving from your hotel then transfer to Kathmandu airport, to fly Bhadrapur. A Bhadrapur flight provides Ariel Mountain View including Langtang Himal, Everest mountain range, and Makalu range. After reaching Bhadrapur straight drive to Teplejung, about 10 hours drive that provides a stunning view of the magnificent landscapes, villages, tea plantation, and mountains.

Option Flight To Suketar Airport
After breakfast, your guide receives you then transfer to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport. We plan to fly Suketar nearest airstrip of Kanchenjunga south base camp trek, it is an about 60-minute mountain flight. The aircraft provides aerial Mountain View of eastern mountain, after arriving Suketar we drive and trek.

A 3 hours' scenic drive provides a stunning view of magnificent landscapes of an agricultural field with layers of mountains plus snow peaks glance. Upon completed the off-road drive, begins Kanchenjunga south base camp trek with climb downhill through the villages of different ethnic people. Crossing the suspension bridge on Phawa Khola on foot of Pathibhara Devi temple.
We then ascend on the agriculture farm to Kande Bhanjyang, beautiful village residence by Gurung people.

From Kande Bhanjyang follow a level trail on the sloppy mountain, the path enclosed with villages and superior landscapes also get a glance of the snow-clad mountains in the far distance.
Then a trail ascent on the sloppy mountains also inside the rhododendron forest, we often heard the chirping of the birds. After lunch at Anpan village, trek resume with climbing up to Phumpe Danda,

Throughout the day magical hiking throughout the forest, village and green pasture also get impressive mountain sights. Today reaching to Sherpa territory that mean can experience the Buddhist culture also sights flapping Buddhist Praying Flags, Chorten, Monasteries, Mani-Wall and Tibetan word carved rock.

Sherpa Gaon to Tortong (Torongding) camp, a long climb up throughout the forest and grassy pasture via Lasiya Bhanjyang (3,450 m). As soon as trailhead from Sherpa Gaon walk continues on the potatoes and buckwheat farm then entering bamboo shrubs as climb higher the vegetation change into the rhododendron and pine forest. Lasiya Bhanjyang has a seasonal animal pasture for Yak and Sheep and also surrounded by tall alpine trees. It is a magical hike that provides stunning sceneries of the sloppy mountain layers with snowcapped peaks.

The Kanchenjunga south base camp trek trailhead steady climb up along the Simbuwa stream that follows down from Yalung glacier. The Lalung valley covered by tall green trees and wildflowers, you will be spotting some birds and animals. As climbed higher, getting closer to Yalung glacier and exposing Mountain View closely.

Before trek towards to Kanchenjunga south base camp, we have an extra night at Tseram for acclimatization. The optional day either take rest all day with doing some light laundry and enjoy to see massive Yalung glaciers. An alternative can do day trek to Kanchenjunga three passes direction that contains Se Le Le, Misisay La, and Mirgin La pass. The route is strenuous uphill on the dwarf rhododendron forest but offers wide valley with panoramic mountain view including Talung, Rathong etc.

Tseram to Ramche is a short day trek and 600 m altitude gain. From beginning to end the trek provides a stunning view of the mountain range and glacier. Ramche/Ramze has a limit lodge in the huge ground with basic facilities and provides rewards mountain vistas.

As doing side trek to Oktang for the spectacular view of Kangchenjunga south base camp. Leaving early morning from the lodge with sufficient drink water because of no lodge beyond Ramze. An Oktang viewpoint route is pretty easy on the lateral moraine of the Yalung glacier. A viewpoint is decorated with Buddhist flayers and stone chhorten, it offers large sights of Yalung glacier which follow right below from Mount Kanchenjunga plus majesty Mount Kanchenjunga, Kabru peak, Rotang, and several unnamed peaks. From here trek back to lodge and then relax.

From today our trek returning down thus from Ramche/Ramze follow downhill path terminal of the glacier to Cheram/Tseram. Then our Tortong trail follow into the lovely nature setting Lalung valley aside of the Simbuwa Khola.

About 8 hours trekking bring us Yamphudin village, the large villages occupied by different ethnic group and can explore the distinct culture. A trailhead contains steep ascent up to Lamite Bhanjyang throughout the pine, rhododendron, and oak forest then rambles downhill on the long ridge and stone stair path to Yamphudin village. The huge landslide section comes to cross on the route above the Simbau Khola also get stunning mountain views. We again check our Kanchenjunga trekking permits at the Kanchenjunga conservation area office. Yamphudin is much warmer than the previous night and has a comfortable tea house, you will have good sleep in the night.

Our trek begins from Yamphudin then walking on the sloppy mountain, the natives do farming to support life also do cardamom plantation on wetland and it is a huge source of income. A path often goes the newly constructed jeep road but still no motor yet all. A short ascend bring us stone rest place and enjoy the view of layers of cultivated farmland on the slovenly hill. Then the remaining trek continuous on the level path to Khebang village.

The last day of the Kanchenjunga circuit trek route follows throughout the villages and magnificent terrain of the farmland. The trailhead Khandime exposes the charming eastern Nepal culture of Rai and Limbu and stopping for the lunch middle of the trek, Dobhan village, the large Limbu village. Khandime village commercial town for the nearby village where people come down to buy the home needed.

From Khamdime we travel by shared/private jeep or local bus to Bhadrapur, about 10 hours' drive. The dusty off-road drive ends Ganesh chowk where we joint to Mechi Highway then further drive to Bhadrapur on the tar road. The entire drive journey offers stunning sceneries of the Himalayas and wide-ranging magnificent landscapes. The last section of the drive passes a beautiful tea garden then reach hustle-bustle Bhadrapur near to the border of India. After room check-in short culture tour in the local market.

After a delicious breakfast short walk to the airport then follow scheduled flight to Kathmandu. The 45-minute mountain flight provides a close view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, and Makalu with several other trekking climbing peaks. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu airport transfer to your hotel.
An overland drive is an option from Bhadrapur to Kathmandu, daily the regular night and day buses departure to Kathmandu. It is approximately 15-16 hours' drive on the tar road. The buses halt along for the meals and toilet.

You have got leisure and spare time until your scheduled flight, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan international airport 4 hours before the flight.
