Manaslu Circuit and Larkya La Pass Trek Itinerary
Manaslu circuit trek is alternative trekking trail Nepal after Everest Trekking and Annapurna trekking, although you can extern your trek to Naar Phu valley after Larkya La Pass. Mount Manaslu (8,163 m/26,781 Ft), the eight highest mountain of the world was first summited in 1956 Ad by Japanese and Nepalese team. Since then it is continuously climbing and summited by well-known climbers. Since very first Manaslu circuit trekking trail found, it became more popular for wilderness, adventure and unique culture of Nubry valley. Manaslu trek begins from tropical zone with steamy valley and paddies field then next following days trek routes continuous reverse of Budi Gandaki River, with it presenting view of beautiful waterfall, pristine lake, cultivate landscapes, culture of multi-ethnic groups, monasteries and after reaching sub-alpine territory at Lho village incredible Himalayan vista including Mt. Manaslu, Next trek ascending up Nubry valley with viewing Manaslu Himalayan range and trek over Larkay La Pass (5,163 m/16,936 Ft). Authentic trek starts after day drive from Kathmandu Soti Khola, following days trek ascending along boulder valley and villages Machhi Khola, Syauli Batti, Jagat, Philim, Deng, Lho monastery, Syalla, Samagaon, Dharamsala and summit to Larkya La then descending Bhimthang, Tilche, Dharapani, Chyamje and drive back to Kathmandu.
There are plenty of guesthouse/lodge with good accommodation along the Manaslu Larkay La Pass trek. The multi-cuisine meals are available with hot and cold drinks, you may choose it from menu and we still recommended to you take local organic meals with delicious taste beside that electricity, wifi, hot shower are available some places. You can do Manaslu Larkya Pass trek through out the year but still best season among the year, spring and autumn are the best season to do Manaslu trek.

Day 17: Beshisahar to Kathmandu 5hrs drive

Detail Itinerary

Detail Itinerary of 18 Manaslu Circuit and Larkya La Pass Trek.  
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1,350 m/4,428 Ft)
On your arrival at Tribhuvan international airport, Our official representative will receiving you then transfer to the hotel.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing.
After breakfast, you’ll be driven to in the city where you will explore the monuments which are listed in the world’s heritage sites.
Boudhanath Stupa: One of the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal 
Pashupatinath Temple: This Hindu shrine is located on the banks of the Bagmati River where dead is cremate daily.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Ancient royal palaces and home of the living Goddess.

Swayambhunath Square: Also known as the monkey temple, from here you will get a panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley. The swayambhunath temple bends 2 religions Hinduism and Buddhism.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Soti Khola (900 m/2,952 Ft & 7:30 hours drive)
A scenic Drive starts from Kathmandu and contiues through on Prithivi highway passing a typical Nepalese village, landscape, enjoy to see rafting on trishuli river reaching at Khaireni Bazaar. Drive continues on bumping and off beaten road along the Daroudi River and climb to Barpak. After dinner you will be entertainer by local musician of mother groups of village.

Day 04: Soti Khola to Machhi Khola (1,000 m/3,280 Ft & 5-6hrs trek)
We have easy trekking trail from Soti Khola, passing through beautiful villages, stunning waterfall with amazing landscapes to Machhi Khola (A fish stream).

Day 05: Machhi Khola to Thulo Dunga (1,210 m/3,869 Ft & 5-6hrs trek)
Our trek starts after breakfast, along the Budi Gandaki river on the ravine of boulder rock. Passing villages Khorla beshi, natural hot spring then finally arrive at Thulo Dunga.

Day 06: Thulo Dunga to Philim (1,640 m/5,380 Ft & 6hrs trek)
We have short climb up to Yaru beshi, this Yaru Beshi section was damaged by April earth and the trail was closed last October but it repaired now then gentle walk on river of river to Jagat, Serdibas and Philim.

Day 07: Philim to Bhi Phedi (1,900 m/6,233 Ft & 5hrs trek)
Philim is administrant of Tsum valley and Nubry valley, after leaving from hotel, we arrive at junction where trail will separate to Tsum valley and Manaslu Larkya La Pass. We take lower trail towering by boulder rock and crossing suspension bridge couple of times passing Nak Phedi, Deng then after crossing bridge short climb up to Bhi Phedi.

Day 08: Bhi Phedi to Namrung (2,760 m/9,055 Ft & 6hrs trek)
Gentle walk from guesthouse to Gyap with viewing stunning waterfall, which follow down from base of himal(mountain). Now trek continuous into the dense forest of rhododendron, pine, fir and juniper and rhododendron blossoming in March/April. Namrung village’s lies in middle of green forest with police station for permit check.

Day 09: Namrung to Shyalla 3,530 m/11,581 Ft & 5hrs trek)
We have gentle walk first an hours, then gradual climbing to Sho, a small village with some houses and monastery. After crossing stream short ascends to villages, we stop at Lho village for lunch and while lunch preparing take short excursion at Lho Monastery, which is one of the important monastery of valley. After delicious lunch short descend to stream and climbing up through pine and fir forest to Shyalla. Shyalla present best Himalayan view of Manaslu Circuit trek and incredible sunrise on Mt. Manaslu.

Day 10: Shyalla to Samagau (3,570 m/11,712 Ft & 3hrs trek)
You’ll see amazing sunrise over the massive Mt. Manaslu, Syalla is one of best view point of Manaslu trek from here you’ll see Himalayan range in 360º degree exceptional Mt. Manaslu dominate entire great view. As we continues trek crossing river and descending to Samagau- a village settle on lap of Mt. Manaslu. If you willing to visit Pungyen monastery and glacier, it is easy to do from here Shyall, after 20 minute walk from hotel reach at river which is follow down from Pungyen glaciers. I will follow brunch trail reverse of stream with ascend and then walk on yak pasture to Gompa with incredible view of Himalayas and small valley. After having pack lunch and taking photographs trek to Samagaun.

Day 11: Acclimatization.
We do excursion around the Sama village, first we go to villages pristine monastery of sama village then further walk to Birendra lake, a sacred lake is home for flora and fauna, you will see beautiful glacier of Manaslu, even the Manaslu base camp trail lead just right side of lake and sturdy climbing up to base camp.

Day 12: Samagaun to Samdo (3,740 m/12,270 Ft &4hrs trek)
The trek starts gradual up on bottom of Mt. Manaslu, leading on south bank of river through shrubs, beautiful landscapes after wooden bridge short ascend brings Samdo, last village in Manaslu trail before Larkya La Pass

Day 13: Samdo to Dharmsala (4,480 m/14,698 Ft &4-5hrs trek)
The trail leading gradual up on barren area with beautiful landscape, spectacular view of north Manaslu, snow-capped peaks and glaciers. Crossing some streams on the way and passing popular old market called Larkey Bazaar. Eastern trail leading to border of Tibet but we taking southern trail keep-climbing gradual up to Dharmasala.

Day 14: Trek Over Larkya La Pass (5,170 m) then descends to Bhimthang (3,890m/12,762 Ft & 8hrs trek)
Today is one of the most challenging and exiting day on your trek. We starts trek an early morning, ascending nearly 700m up on rocky path all the way to Larkya La Pass. As we walking up you'll see awesome golden colour sunrise over the Himalayas.  Larkya La Pass is challenging and tough pass but as you climb higher , you'll be surprised and impress by closet view of massive Himalayas. After spending some time at summit and taking photographs descending nearly 1250m with great view to Himalayas, glacier and sparking lake at mid of glacier. You’ll see awesome sunset over the Mt. Manaslu, Hiuchuli, peak 29 and other peak.

Day 15: Bhimthang to Tilche (3,110 m/10,203 Ft & 6-7hrs trek) 
Today you are descending through dense forest along the river, it is such nice lush green forest will have a wonderful walk passing a beautiful village and landscapes to Tilche.  As you walk in dense forest, we often see monkey and multi-colour birds.

Day 16: Tilche to Beshisahar (850 m/2,729 Ft & 4hrs trek then 3hrs drive) via Chyamje
Today you will have a enjoy able walk along the Marshyandi river to Chamje while descending down through villages called Dharapani, Kyoto, Tal and see stunning waterfall at Tal and the waterfall dominate picturesque village. Resume hike on off beaten trail to Chamje. After Chyamje we will ride the jeep/bus to Beshisahar.

Day 17:Beshisahar to Kathmandu 5hrs drive 
Drive starts after breakfast, 5hrs drive will presents countryside scenery all the way to Kathmandu
Overnight at Hotel.

 Day 18: Departure.
According to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the international airport.
