Langtang valley trek is graded as short and easy trek in Langtang National park of Nepal. The trek presents, unique life style of the people who inhabitant and midgrade from Tibet, Buddhist site as chortens, Monasteries and colourful praying flags, as it is a national park, the park preserving maximum numbers of flora and fauna, spectacular high Himalayas and massive glacier. The trek lies nearby 140km north of Kathmandu and few kilometre from Tibet. Trek start from Syabrubshei, ascending along repeal of Langtang Khola(river) throughout the dense rhododendron forest often passing a villages on foot of high Himalayas. After Godatabel the valley and view became wider and offers breathtaking view of impressive mountains. Kyanji Gompa, last habitant in the trail is surrounding by mountains. Our trek highlight is Kyanjing Ri, the Ri present amazing eye-catching scenery of Himalaya and glacier with huge valley. After complete and succeed the goal retracing to Syabrubeshi and then Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1350m. Overnight at hotel 

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley and prepare for trek. Overnight at hotel. 

Day 03: Kathmandu – Syabrubesi 1610m/5116ft- 7hrs by driving. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04: Syabrubesi - Lama Hotel 2400m7870ft- 6hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 05: Lama Hotel – Langatang village 3450m/11315ft- 6hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 06: Langtang village – Kyangjin Gompa 3870m/12697ft- 4hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 07: Side Trip to Kyanjing Ri 4950m/16236ft- 5hrs round trip. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 08: Kyangjin Gompa – Lama Hotel- 5hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 09: Lama Hotel – Syabrubeshi 1520m/4985ft- 5hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 10: Syabrubeshi – Kathmandu 7hrs drdive. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Drive to Airport.

Detail Itinerary

Detail Itinerary of 11Days Langtang Valley Trek.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1350m/4428ft.
Our official airport representative will be at arrival gate with your name is sign board. S/he will transfer you at hotel. While driving to hotel s/he will give short brief of Kathmandu.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley and prepare for trek.
You guided tour will start at 9am with knowledgeable tour guide you will take into the city
Pashupatinath Temple: The holy places of Hindus where Hindus do cremate of death people. The holy Bagmati river follow across the midst of the Pashupatinath temple.
Bauddhanath Stupa: One of the largest Buddhist stupa in Kathmandu valley. The colour of stupa dominate the skylines.
Swambhunath Temple: The viewpoint in middle of Kathmandu valley. Swambhunath is model of religious unity of Hinduism and Buddhism where you will see temple and monastery at same spot.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: The square used be Royal palace and surrounded by many temples. We will visit house of living goddess and get bliss from her. The entire complex is witness of newari architecture from 15/16 century. At 5pm meeting with your trek leader/guide on pre-trek discussion. Then if you need to buy anything's for your trek. Your guide will take you in the shop.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Syabrubesi 1560m/5116ft- 7hrs by driving.
The drive through the northern hills of Kathmandu on the Passang lamu highway enjoying the Himalayan views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal range. We will see beautiful landscape and lifestyle of rural village. We will stop for lunch at Trishuli which is half way of the drive. Then drive continue passing Kalikasthan, Dunche then descending to Syabrubes.

Day 04: Syabrubesi - Lama Hotel 2400m/7870ft- 6hrs Trek.
Today is the our first day of trek. After crossing the Bhote Koshi river which follows all the way from Tibet, we walk along the Langtang Khola and gorge, climbing gradual up through the dense forest and passing the water fall, hot spring and encounter the wild bee hive and Apes monkey. After Bamboo the trail leads steep up to Lama Hotel.

Day 05: Lama Hotel – Langatang village 3450m/11315ft- 6hrs Trek.
We start our trek, the trail passes through the dense pine forest along the Langtang khola, and we enjoy to see first glimpse of Langtang Lirung. Then we pass villages called Godatabel, Thansyep, impressive water mills, prayer wheels, chortens –beautiful inscription carved on rock.

Day 06: Langtang village – Kyangjin Gompa 3870m/12697ft- 4hrs Trek.
We start our trek walking through the beautiful Tibetan style village, yak pastures, then pass the second largest mani wall in Nepal made by stone. Gradual up on paved walk through the yak pasture brings you to Kangjin Gompa. Now you are surrounded by Himalaya's.

Day 07: Side Trip to Kyanjing Ri 4950m/16236ft- 5hrs round trip.
Today we do side trip to either Kyanjing Ri or Tserko Ri, Both of them presets impressive views of white snow-capped mountains and massive deep valley, sparking and frozen lakes. Compare to both view point Tserki Ri is tougher and better view than Kyanjing Ri. The trail start passing villages and ascending up through yak pastures. As you climbing higher the view seen bigger and closer. After spent while in summit retracing to Kyanjing Gompa.

Day 08: Kyangjin Gompa – Lama Hotel- 5hrs Trek.
We retrace, pass through the Langtang village and walk through the beautiful dense forest reaching to Lama Hotel.

Day 09: Lama Hotel – Syabrubeshi 1520m/4985ft- 5hrs Trek.
We have a optional way to get back at Syabrubeshi. We might take a summer way because offers great view of the valley. The path continues gradual-up through the bushes and pass the Sherpa gaun and Khangjing. Then descending to Syabrubeshi.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Syabrubeshi – Kathmandu 7hrs Drive.
Today we drive to Kathmandu, it takes 6/7hrs to reach at Kathmandu. The drives present last glimpse of Langtang range and beautiful landscapes.

Day 11: Departure.
Time to say good bye to all your Nepalese friends! You may want to go on a last minute shopping spree. You must be at the airport 3hrs before your flight.
