Daily itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu international airport receiving by your trek guide with fresh wreath then transfer to your hotel. Your trek guide stays standby at the airport with your name on the signboard. After arriving the hotel have own time until official meeting an evening.

Early in the morning drive to Domestic terminal of Tribhuvan international airport then board on a small plane to Lukla. Savoring the mountain panorama and diverse landscapes throughout the flight journey. You will be a thrilling landing experience in Lukla airstrip. We collect the luggage, we walk through the forest and villages to Phakding. A colorful trail to Phakding village is mostly descending downhill, and enjoy the stunning view of the lush green valley below high mountains. After arriving Phakding village short side trek to a nearby monastery and remote Sherpa village, Thulo Gumela.

The exciting day of Renjo La pass and Gokyo Valley Trek, the trek starts from Phakding and easy climb by the riverside of the thrilling milky river. We enter to Sagarmatha national park and checking Renjo La and Gokyo valley trek permits bypassing Manjo village. Afar Sherpa settlement Jorsalle village trek through lush rhododendron and pine forest to Namche Bazar with thrilling experience crossing tallest suspension bridge of the Everest Trekking. While at Khumjung village explore Hillary school and the 500 years old Buddhist monastery where can sights “Yeti skull”. After lunch, the trail continues Khunde where we can visit another ancient monastery and the hospital which was funded by Edmund Hillary. On the way back to Namche Bazar, we will pass the yak breeding farm, the Sherpa museum where we can still see the traditional costumes of Sherpa people. Also possible to visit The Everest view hotel en route to Khumjung Village.

From Namche Bazar, the trail turn left fellow the trade route between Nepal and Tibet. The trek is a gradual up passing lush green forest, villages, monasteries with great view of the Mountains and valley. You may spot wild animals such as deer, mountains goats, colorful birds etc. After crossing the Bhote Koshi River, the trail ascends steeply up to the climber village, Thame where 21 times Everest climber Apa Sherpa, 23 times Everest climber Kami Rita Sherpa and first Everest summiteer Tenzing Norgay Sherpa take a birth and raised.

En route to Lunden village short climb to a ridge for the picturesque view of the Thame village and mountains. The trail passes through few Sherpa homesteads on the Riverbank. After the cross, the small wooden bridge leaves the trade route behind then short climb on the meadow to Lunden village. For the alternative day trip, long day tour to Ngozumpa Tse, it is miracle viewpoint also the best place to see a close view of Mount Cho Oyu with entire huge Gokyo Lake. For Gokyo fifth, Lake Tour must travel with adequately of drinks and energy bar for energy. Also, catch the awe-inspiring outlook of the north side of Mount Everest. The route is pretty tough most of the path is on lateral moraine of Ngozumpa glacier but closely summit has an unstable rocky section. It is worth a tough side trek which rewards phenomenon scenery of snow peak, glacier, and uncountable turquoise lake.

You have an option side trek to Gokyo Ri, implausible viewpoint for the snow-clad mountain view the Everest region and the large Ngozumpa glacier. The glacier stretching all way to Cho Oyu Mountains and sixth Gokyo Lake from Pangkha. After exploration, the Mother Nature from Gokyo Ri returned to the lodge. The short trek to Dragnak/Thagnak commences over the Ngozumpa glacier with looking breathtaking mountain view of Cho Oyu and Gyangchung peak. It about 3-4 hours trekking on the moraine to Dragnak village which also called Cho lo base camp. It is advisable to follow the footprint of your guide and stay closely where crusade of glaciers feel. Then have early dinner and timely bed as well because of starting trek early in the morning for Cho La pass.

Crossing another high altitude trekking pass en route of Everest three passes trek. Cho La Pass walking on the rocky and icy technical route that connecter of the Gokyo Lake and Everest Base Camp. You deserve easy day after crossing physical demanding Cho La pass, a trail to Lobuche village is comparatively easier than any other trek day. A downhill path continues on the seasonal yak pasture where often spot mountain marmot on bottom of Lobuche peak, Cholatse, also get a spectacular view of Mt. Ama Dablam and Pumori. A distance from Lobuche to Gorakshep is nearby but because of the altitude effect, it takes approximately 3 hours to reach Gorakshep. We trek on flatten meadows west side of Khumbu glacier up to Lobuche pass. From Lobuche, pass trek carries on rocky and pebble unstable trail on the Khumbu glacier moraine to Gorakshep. The entire hike to Gorakshep provides incredible views of mountain panorama including Pumori (7167 m), Lobuche Peak (6119 m), Khumbutse (6639 m), Nuptse (7879 m), Lingtren (6713 m) with the large Khumbu glacier. Upon arrival Gorakshep lodge reserve the room then keep belonging in the room. After early lunch starts Everest base camp side trek on a rocky path in cold temperature. Everest base camp tour takes around 5-6 hours for a round trip, the gravel path is pretty small also stuck on human traffic. Everest base camp set on the midst of Khumbu glacier on end of Khumbu icefall, during the spring (April/May) several colorful tented camps set on top of the moraine. The path onto the Khumbu glacier is unclear and request follows your guide footprints. Upon cross the moraine uphill trail beings and stretch up to Kongma la pass summit. Kongma la summit presents the outstanding view of Mount Makalu with a turquoise lake as well as spectacular Mount Ama Dablam. We resume trek after lunch at Phungi Thenga then gentle climb and follow easy Buddhist flavor route to Namche Bazar.

Today we completing Everest circuit trek by the reaching to Lukla, the last day of the trek is a fairly long walk by passing Sherpa villages, colorful rhododendron forest and crossing suspension bridges. Walking down along the Dudh Koshi River till Tadho Koshi then about 2-hours uphill trek to Lukla village.

In the morning short walk to Tenzing Hillary Airport, Lukla. We take an earlier flight to Kathmandu, a 45-minute flight considers a scenic flight. It offers Ariel Mountain view and a meandering river with colorful diverse landscapes of the countryside. On arrival at Kathmandu airport transfer to your hotel. Stroll around Thamel Street and alley then evening we host farewell dinner.

Nangpa La Pass (5,806 m)
Nangpa La pass
, the trading route between Nepal and Tibet in the Khumbu region Nepal. The high altitude passes also the secondary route for the Mount Cho Oyu expedition. Nangpa la pass was recognized after the Tibetan refugee shooting in 2006. Nangpa La pass is located north of tourist hub Namche Bazar. The trail follows along the Bhote Koshi River through the Sherpa village until Arya guesthouse. Then travelers have to spend overnight at a tented camp beyond the Arya guesthouse. There are a few common good camping spots along the moraine like Kanchung, Dzasampa. Repeat passing stone hut and series of the stone cairn.
From Kanchung the trailhead on the moraine and the huge glacier on foot of the mountain. And the challenging hike continues on the crevasses and snowfield. The summit is decorated with Buddhist flags on the traditional Chorten. The surpass reward with a close-up view of the mount Cho Oyu and the number of the snow peak. From Nangpa la pass northeast trail leading to the Cho Oyu base camp for the Cho Oyu expeditions. Alert to the traveler, should travel with a guide because hard to find the path in the moraine, crevasse, glacier and the snow.

Sundar/Sunder Peak (5,360 m)
Newly discovered virgin viewpoint Sundhar peak located straight above Thame village at the height of 17,580 ft above sea level. The vantage point offers an excellent sight of the alpine valley with towering snow peaks. It is about a 7-8 hours day trip from Thame village with huge altitude gain in a single day. That rapid altitude changed helps a lot against high altitude acclimatization. The Sunder/Sundar peak route passing the ancient Thame Buddhist monastery then steeply ascending on the rocky trail on the ridge to the summit. The summit rewarded an excellent mountain view of Rolwaling mountain range, Thamserku, Mera peak, Kusumkangaru, Kangtega, Kwande also four eight thousand meter peaks on distance namely Cho Oyu, Mount Everest, Makalu & Lhotse.

Ngozumpa Tse (5,740 m)
The highest vantage point on Everest high passes trek in the Khumbu region. Ngozumpa Tse is a complete black ridge in the midst of the 6th & 5th Gokyo Lake at the edge of the Ngozumpa glacier. The trail is pretty good up to 5th Gokyo Lake on the rugged wilderness Gokyo valley at the edge of the Ngozumpa glacier, the largest Himalayan glacier. We follow gentle up the trail on the moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier with looking gorgeous view of the north face of Mount Everest and Cho Oyu, the world's 6th highest mountain. After the pass the 5th Gokyo Lake, we climb on the black mountain with subsequent pebble trail then the terminal trail is the complete black rock which also unsustainable. It is ample wilderness mountainous terrain which also windy as well. We should do a day trip with sufficient water, an energy bar, and meals. The summit of Ngozumpa Ri provides a close view of massif mount Cho Oyu and an ice-covered Himalayan glacier with a picturesque view of turquoise 4 Gokyo Lake. Once taken superb photos to trek back to Gokyo Lake and if time allows ascending to Gokyo Ri, catch glorious sunset on the panoramic Himalayas.

Mount Cho Oyu Base Camp
A side trek to Cho Oyu base camp is a mesmerizing day trip in Gokyo valley in the Everest region Nepal. Day trip on the Gokyo valley along the Ngozumpa glacier with passing series of the Gokyo Lakes. It is a long day hike, distance is approximately 20 Km to and fro. Glacial & unstable routes spread on the moraine and provide magical sceneries of snowcapped peaks.

Italian Pyramid (5,050 m)
The glasshouse pyramid situated east side of the Lobuche peak on Khumbu valley which also known Italian research center for the climate. It was established in 1987 by trouper Italian mountaineer for aiming to measure the height of the surrounding mountains and the mountainous climate. There are several compartments at the complex for accommodation for travelers, examination room, press room, etc.

Imja Tsho/Lake (5,150 m)
One of the fast-growing glaciers lake in the Himalayas and the water drained out from the lake in 2016. The lake is situated at Imja valley on a base of the Island peak and also can reach after the physically demanding Ama Lapcha Pass trek. Massif Ima Tsho source is Lhotse Shar glacier and Barutnse glacier. So it is a day trip from Chhukung to Imja Lake which is approximately 8 km for a round trip. The Island peak base camp day hike begins subsequently breakfast with pack lunch and the appropriate drinking water. Chhukung Ri (5,553/5,820 m)
The black rocky mount in Imja valley stretches to the end of the Lhotse Shar. It is the best side trek to view the world's 5th highest Mt. Makalu (8485 m). The distance of the Chukung hamlet to the peaks is about 4 km round trip. Unofficially there are two summits and the upper viewpoint is the main but most trekkers though the lower peak (5553 m) with a Buddhist praying flag is the one. There is a clear and unwavering path till the first peak then a rocky trail to the top. Chukhung Ri side trek offers breathless mountain view with together Imja valley. Kongde View Hotel (4220 m)
The high elevated luxury accommodation set at the height of 4220 m above the sea level on the mountain. There is two amenity lodge with providing the best view of 4 highest mountains above 8000 mtr namely Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu beside that can see Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusum Kanguru, Khumbutse, Taboche, Island peak, Pumori, Kongde, kangtega etc. I have found traverse are interested to visit Kongde View Hotel but costly (Room and food). There is 2 option to reach Hotel Kongde view which is from Thame and Tok Tok village. But can do dayside trek only from Tok Tok village which takes around 11 hours in a round trip. Also can have a picturesque view of the Namche bazaar and Monju. We recommend trek over here in March/April where the Himalayan wilder flower is blooming.
