After Namche Bazar follow off the beaten track main route leading to Nangpa La pass thru Thamo, Phurte, Theshyo, Thame, Lungden to Renjo La (5360 m). You'll get stunning mountains vista of four mountains out of fourteen world's highest mountains Mt Everest, Makalu, Lhotse and Cho Oyu from Gokyo Ri (5364 m) and Ngozumpa Tse (5700 m). Daily itinerary

Once you provides us your Kathmandu arrival details, we pick you up from on arrival gate of Tribhuvan international airport. The airport representative stay standby with your name on placard. Then you'll be welcomed with fresh garland after that short driven to your hotel. After room check-in take your own time for relax and leisure.

A 30-minute scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla offers close mountain views with the magnificent view of landscapes. Upon arrival Lukla ariport, introduce with your assistant guide also called the porter. From here till getting back to Lukla your luggage taken care by this new friend.
The trekking trail starts along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through the Sherpa villages of Chhupulung, Thado Koshi, Ghat and reaching Phakding. The view of Landscapes, Mountains, Tibetan word carved in rocks and multi-colored Buddhist flags and other exciting sites along the trek makes it really interesting.

From Phakding the trail continues along Dudh Koshi River, ascending through the rhododendron forest, giant fir, magnolia trees, Himalayan pine & cedar forest with the great view of the Kusum kangaroo Thamserku Mountains. While climbing up through the dense forest we pass the viewpoint where we catch the first glimpse of Mt. Everest. The trail goes steep up to the village of Namche. Namche is the trading town of the Khumbu region where people come to buy goods on the weekend market.

The trail leads to the twin villages Khumjung and Khunde, the most charming Sherpa villages in Khumbu region. As the trail ascends higher the view of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Taboche, Cholatse, Thamserku, Kwangde Peak, and the gorgeous Ama Dablam is spectacular. While at Khumjung village explore Hillary school and the 500 years old Buddhist monastery where can sights “Yeti skull”. After lunch, the trail continues Khunde where we can visit another ancient monastery and the hospital which was funded by Edmund Hillary. On the way back to Namche, we will pass the yak breeding farm, the Sherpa museum where we can still see the traditional costumes of Sherpa people.

From Namche Bazar, the trail turn left from village fellow the trade route between Nepal and Tibet. The trek is a gradual up passing lush green forest, villages, monasteries with the great view of the Himalayan mountains and valley. You may see wild animals such as deers, mountains goats, colorful birds etc. After crossing a river, the trail ascends steeply up to the climber village known as Thame. An evening watches a glorious sunset view on the snow-capped mountains.

Today the trail takes you through farming land, yak pasture by the river with more great views of the mountains. We follow the trail which commences to Nangpa La, a salt trading route where the Tibetan traded with Khumbu people till 2008. After the cross, the small wooden bridge leaves the trade route then follow a small brunch path with ascend up to Lunden.

Renjo La pass is first high passes en route of Everest three passes trek and also offers the best view of the Himalayas including four mountains above eight thousand. From Lunden to Renjo la route is steady up where possible to walk on the snow from December to April. We eat early delightful breakfast before leaving from a lodge, then follow the uphill path to Renjo la pass. From here rambling steeply descend on crumble path on the bank of Gokyo Lake.

Today we reserve rest day at Gokyo Lake and enjoy yourself with gorgeous Himalayas view and Himalayan glacier. Also, walk around Gokyo Lake (3rd lake) where often see an image of mountains in the lake. We applaud ascend to Gokyo Ri (5360 m) to see superb sunset on the panoramic Himalayas.
For the alternative day trip, long day tour to Ngozumpa Tse, it is miracle viewpoint also the best place to see a close view of Mount Cho Oyu with entire huge Gokyo Lake. For Gokyo fifth, Lake Tour must travel with adequately of drinks and energy bar for energy. Also, catch the awe-inspiring outlook of the north side of Mount Everest. The route is pretty tough most of the path is on lateral moraine of Ngozumpa glacier but closely summit has an unstable rocky section. It is worth a tough side trek which rewards phenomenon scenery of snow peak, glacier, and uncountable turquoise lake.

You got an option to ascend Gokyo Ri and take a picture of burning sunrise on the high mountain. Approximately 3 hours sturdy uphill trek to the summit but the trail let you relish with an amazing mountainous and blue-green lake on a lap of a glacier. After holding the record to reached Gokyo Ri trek returned to Gokyo lodge and then enjoy your breakfast with mountain view. After complete your bag-pack continues your onward trek to Dragnak also called basecamp of Cho la pass on the east bank of the glacier. It is around 3 hours trek onto the glacier, it is advisable to follow the footprint of your guide and stay closely where feel movement of glaciers. Then have early dinner and timely bed as well because of starting trek early in the morning for Cho La pass.

Cho la pass is a long way from a lodge, the trail involved gentle and strenuous ascend also ice and rocky path close to the Cho La summit. The kitchen open 05:00 hours also breakfast on the table then leaving upon finishing your morning meals. The early path passes alongside stream till big rock where possible to see travelers are on tented camp. Then trail tiny drop down till stone rest place then again ascend up on the rocky after that icy to the Cho La pass summit. The Cho la pass is a junction of Everest base camp and Gokyo Lake. Also, a beautiful lake and decorated Buddhist flayer make Cho la summit spectacular. You deserve easy day after crossing physical demanding Cho La pass, a trail to Lobuche village is comparatively easier than any other trek day. A downhill path continues on the seasonal yak pasture where often spot mountain marmot on bottom of Lobuche peak, Cholatse, also get a spectacular view of Mt. Ama Dablam and Pumori. Lobuche settlement is the junction of Everest base camp trek and Cho La Pass definitely, meet-up with more adventure minded people. On another hand, you can visit Awi peak en route to Lobuche.

A distance from Lobuche to Gorakshep is nearby but because of the altitude effect, it takes approximately 3 hours to reach Gorakshep. We trek on flatten meadows western side of Khumbu glacier up to Lobuche pass. From Lobuche pass trek carries on rocky and pebble unstable trail on Khumbu glacier moraine to Gorakshep. The entire hike to Gorakshep provides incredible views of mountain panorama including Pumori (7167 m), Lobuche Peak (6119 m), Khumbutse (6639 m), Nuptse (7879 m), Lingtren (6713 m) with the large Khumbu glacier. Upon arrival Gorakshep lodge reserve the room then keeps belonging objects. After early lunch starts Everest base camp side trek on a rocky path in cold temperature. A trek begins early morning from Lobuche then walking on Khumbu glacier. The path onto the Khumbu glacier is unclear and request follows your guide footprints. Upon cross the moraine uphill trail beings and stretch up to Kongma la pass summit.
Kongma la summit presents the outstanding view of the Mount Makalu with a turquoise lake as well spectacular Mount Ama Dablam. From here Everest high passes route steeply descending to Dingboche with admiring exception mountain view. Before reaching camp come cross with Island peak climber on way.

Dingboche is large Sherpa village where around 20 lodges are currently providing services for travelers also most trekker's spending 2 nights for acclimatization before heading further up. After breakfast follows downhill path thru Pangboche and Samar village then upon cross the Imja River getting back to rhododendron forest. Now follow gentle ascend up to Tengboche monastery also visit Deboche Nunnery monastery. Tengboche monastery is the largest Buddhist monastery where seldom celebrate monks festival. Also, enjoy to see 360 degrees Mountain View from here, then follow gruffly downward path to Phungi Thenga on the bank of Dudh Koshi River. After lunch here 3/4 hours trek to Namche Bazar, a route contains gentle up and flat to Namche.

After breakfast follow route to Lukla, first section of trail passes dense pine and rhododendron forest until reaching Monjo. After that trail continues thru colorful Sherpa village, painted rock and crossing more than half dozen suspension bridge to reaching Lukla. After arriving Lukla have leisure time and enjoy your last day with exploring thrilling Lukla airport.

A 35-minute scenic flight from Lukla to Manthali airport (Ramechhap) gives you a great view of the Himalayan. Upon on arrival Ramchechhap drive begins to Kathmandu which takes 3/4 hours drive then transferred to your hotel.

Nangpa La Pass (5806 m)
Only accessing frontier of Tibet from Khumbu Nepal, the seasonal high altitude pass is quite popular till 2006 Nangpala shooting. This high altitude pass was popular for the trading between Tibetan merchant and local Sherpa even for the pilgrimage voyage. Nangpala pass is further north from Thame valley beyond the human settlement. There is branch trail above the Lunden village and pass the seasonal running lodge at Khusum. This alpine landscape is popular for the yak pastures. Above the little Khusum village basically trekkers' traverse into wilderness moraine which also surrounding by high snow-peaks. There are few common places along the moraine with good camping spot like Kanchung, Dzasampa. Before reaching to Kanchung proper glacier can see a temporary stone house with piles of stone where Tibetan traders and refugee used spent a night while crossing over the Nangpa La pass. After Kanchung the trail continues on the moraine and the huge glacier where constantly moving glacier on the ground. The trail then continues on side of the crevasses after that walking on fresh snow on huge flatten in between two high snowcapped mountains to the summit which is decorated by Buddhist flags on the traditional chhorten. Ngozumpa Tse (5740 m)
The highest vantage point on Everest high passes trek in the Khumbu region. Ngozumpa tse is complete black ridge at the midst of the 6th & 5th Gokyo Lake at the edge of the Ngozumpa glacier. The trail is pretty good up to 5th Gokyo Lake on the rugged-wilderness Gokyo valley at the edge of the Ngozumpa glacier, the largest Himalayan glacier. We follow gentle up the trail on the moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier with looking gorgeous view of the north face of Mount Everest and Cho Oyu, world 6th highest mountains. After the pass the 5th Gokyo Lake, we climb on the black mountain with subsequent pebble trail then the terminal trail is the complete black rock which also unsustainable. It is ample wilderness mountainous terrain which also windy as well. Should do a day trip with sufficient water, energy bar, and meals. The summit of Ngozumpa Ri provides a close view of massif mount Cho Oyu and ice-covered Himalayan glacier with a picturesque view of turquoise 4 Gokyo Lake. Once taken superb photos to trek back to Gokyo Lake and if time allows ascending to Gokyo Ri, catch glorious sunset on the panoramic Himalayas.

Italian Pyramid (5050 m)
The glass house pyramid situated east site of the Lobuche peak on Khumbu valley which also known Italian research center for the climate. It was established in 1987 by trouper Italian mountaineer for aiming to measure the height of the surrounding mountains and the mountainous climate. There are several compartments at the complex for accommodation for travelers, examination room, press room etc.

Imja Tsho (Lake) (5150 m)
One of the fast-growing glacier lake in the Himalayas till drained out the lake water in 2016. The lake is situated at Imja valley on a base of the Island peak and also can reach after physical demanding Ama Lapcha Pass trek. Massif Ima Tsho source is Lhotse Shar glacier and Barutnse glacier. So it is a day trip from Chhukung to Imja Lake which is approximately 8 km for a round trip. Chhukung Ri (5550 m)
Chhukung Peak, mount of black rocky above Chhukung village which stretch to end of the Lhotse Shar in Imja valley. It is best to side trek to view the world 5th highest Mt. Makalu (8485 m). Do not be confused upper black rock is the Chhukung Ri but maximum hiker though lower one with Buddhist flag is the Chhukung Ri. Towards the Chhukung Ri commonly ascend up on the crumble and scree trail with having a mesmerizing view of the numerous trekking peaks in Imja valley and attractive Mount Makalu vista. Should traverse with plenty of the drinking water and energy bar, the summit provides a grand view of surrounding mountains and Lhotse glacier.

Kongde View Hotel (4220 m)
The high elevated luxury accommodation set at the height of 4220 m above the sea level on the mountain. There is two amenity lodge with providing the best view of 4 highest mountains above 8000 mtr namely Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu beside that can see Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusum Kanguru, Khumbutse, Taboche, Island peak, Pumori, Kongde, kangtega etc. I have found traverse are interested to visit Kongde View Hotel but costly (Room and food). There is 2 option to reach Hotel Kongde view which is from Thame and Tok Tok village. But can do day side trek only from Tok Tok village which takes around 11 hours in a round trip. Musical adventure trekking conduct day tour to Kongde view from Tok Tok. From Tok Tok huge climb-up (1500 m) throughout pristine forest of pine and rhododendron as well wild herb bushes. Should go with plenty of drinking's, energy bar and pack-lunch. Few trekker's traverses throughout this route which is very silence as well where supreme coincidental to sights wild animals and colorful Himalayan pheasant. Also can have a picturesque view of the Namche bazaar and Monju. We recommend trek over here on March/April where the Himalayan wilder flower is blooming. The entire trail is fairly small but still can see marked to the hotel while coming back should extra care because of the steeply down on crumble path and even windy also in the late afternoon.


Everest High Passes difficulty and Physical requires

It is mandatory the trekkers should be physically fit and previous high altitude trekking experienced is must have. No matter how fit is the hiker still chance to have high altitude symptoms en route while crossing Renjo La (5360 m), Cho La (5420 m) and Komgma La (5535 m). Everest High Passes Trek Permits Cost

Trekking permits are mandatory for doing Everest High passes trek, all the trekker's must have 2 trekking permits which cost Rs-5000 (Approximately U$D50). Khumbu Pasanglhamu
