Everest Luxury Lodge Trek

An early morning receiving from your hotel then transferring to airport for Lukla flight. A spectacular Lukla flight offers excellent view of the Himalayas that includes Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Jugal mountain range, Gauri Shanker, Rolwaling Himal, Menlumtse and Mera peak. Upon arrival Tenzing Hillary airstrip introduces with trekking crew then our trailhead gentle downhill through the Sherpa hamlet that mark basement of the mountains. After delicious lunch can do side trek to Thaktul/Rimijung monastery above the Phakding village.

After breakfast our trek starts then gentle rise along the Dudh Kosi River with crossing suspension bridge couple of the time. Today hike is slightly harder than Lukla to Phakding day trek. Rest and acclimatization day at Namche Bazar, we have distinct options to spend a spare day at Namche Bazar. If you willing to have an easy and comfortable day then hang-out at the commercial Namche Bazar and do shopping also visit the water fountain, monastery, Sherpa museum, Sonam photography gallery, national park headquarter, café, bar and on Friday and Saturday visit the weekly market.
And prefer to do climb higher then dayside trek to Hotel Everest view, it takes 4-5 hours round trip that arranges panoramic Mountain View of the Khumbu Himalayas. Also, have a cup of the tea at first luxurious hotel in the Everest region that established in 1971 AD. The trip can extend to twin Sherpa village Khumjung and Khunde it famous for Sherpa élite culture and take picture of Yeti head at Khumjung monastery.

After breakfast, we follow the west route that connects to Tibet Via Nangpa La pass and believed Tenzing Norgay traveled with his family from Tibet to Nepal when the cultural revolution going on in Tibet. It about 5-6 hours trekking through the forest of the spruce, pine, rhododendron, juniper, and dwarf Himalayan herbs. We get perfect sights of Lawudo Gompa above our trail. As it is a less touristic region we immediately spot blue sheep, Mountain Goat, and Himalayan Monal before arriving Thame village.
We check our trekking permit at Thamo village also Sherpa culture excursion of great mountaineer Ang Rita Sherpa village who has hold the record that 10 time Everest summit without supplementary oxygen. We then gentle climb up through herbs shrub and potatoes field also view great Buddha painting on the boulder on Shore of Bhote Koshi River. Often crossing thunder milky river on the narrow rocky gully then tackle against sturdy uphill to Thame Village, the hamlet of the Everest climber. If the time permits then we climb to Thame Monastery, the Nyingmapa sect Gompa believed to be established in 16th century. From the monastery also get magnificent view of the picturesque Thame village on foot of the Himalayas.

From the Thame, the village walks downward on the yak pasture and potatoes farmland with crossing downstream. We also see some little houses where the farmer storess their crops in the harvesting season. We still see some locals are farming at Pare village. We then climb gradually up, on the pebble path into the rhododendron and pine forest also crossing seasonal glacier and waterfall. As we getting closer to the Kongde View hotel, it approaches magnificent view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and striking Namche Bazar on foot of Thamserku peak. Last section of the walk continuous on the large open pasture that provides a striking view of the surrounding. The well-furnished bedroom is thriving decorated of Buddhist mandala, you will also get excellent Mountain View from the bedroom window.

Extra day in the highest elevation Kongde Viewpoint hotel, there is an opportunity to an ascension to mesmerizing viewpoint Farak Peak and Kongde Lake. You will get incredible sceneries of the Himalayas around 20 mountains also get mountain shadow on the turquoise lake.

A trail to the Farak peak is sturdy climb up on the craggy mountain and it takes around 5 hours for a round trip. The day trip greets us by superior sights of the mountains including four mountain above eight thousand namely giant mounts Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu plus Ama Dablam, Taboche, Taboche, Cholatse, Pumori, Nuptse, Imja Peak, Boruntse, Thamserku, Kangtega, Kongde Ri, Kusum Kanggaru, Mera Peak, Khumbila, Kapsele, Ombigaichan, etc. Then retrace to lodge and enjoy delicious lunch on an open terrace with overlook Khumbu valley.

It is huge descent from Kongde hotel to Phakding village, wiser to use trekking pole that support your knees and ankle while walking steeply down on the grit and pebble trail.
First section of the trail is completely grassy then passes dwarf rhododendron. The dramatic view of meandering Koshi River and the tranquil Sherpa village below snow-clad mountain make your day fabulous. We joint to Everest base camp trek route at Tok Tok then stop at Phakding for lunch. Our trek continue to Lukla with gradual ascending.

We eat a delicious mountain breakfast before move to airport at the hotel then short walk to Tenzing-Hillary airport. A 45 minute mountain flight provides close-up view of the Himalayas to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you'll be transfer to your hotel then take own time until evening.
