A side trek to Thame village, Chukhung viewpoint, Narkang Hill, Kala Patthar viewpoint, and Everest base camp. This day trip provides a breathless mountain view and diverse landscapes. A trek starts from the lush green steamy valley then continues climb through the ancient Nepalese villages. The ultimate destination is glacier valley and panoramic Mountain View.
The Everest classic trek cost depends on the group size and trek duration. 19-days Everest classic trek package cost is US$1350 for solo and US$1120 in two pax. The trek cost drop as the traveler’s number increase in the group. This price for a standard trek if willing to upgrade the accommodation in the route, the price rise. Our Everest classic trek begins from Kathmandu with a full-day drive to Dhap village. About 8 hours of the scenic drive offers a good view of the meandering river, unmatched landscapes, and snow peaks. The hike begins and passes through rhododendron forest, yak pasture to Pikey peak. We continous passes series of the stone cairn and old-age sculptured mani wall. Pikey peak (4,065 m) provides a wide range of mountain views from east to west Nepal. The trailhead approaches exclusive scenery then passes Junbesi, Khari Khola, and reaches Phakding. We cross a saggy suspension bridge over the glacier lake to Namche Bazar. The route is embellished by colorful Buddhist flags and engraved of the Buddhist alphabet on the rock. Also visiting monasteries Thubtan Chholing, Thaktul, Tengboche, Lawudo, and Pangboche.
Daily itinerary
Day 00: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m/4,428 Ft)

We pick up you from Tribhuvan international airport then transfer you to your hotel. The airport representative waiting for you with your name on the signboard. About 30-45 minute drive through the busy Kathmandu road bring you hotel. We then first room check-in then have free time until your official meeting with the trek guide in the evening. Then your guide will assist you check the trek gear list before the final pack.
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap (2,930 m/9,610 Ft)

A drive ahead to Dhap village can be arrangedprivately, shared jeep and the ordinary bus. Public bus and shared jeep departure an early morning from Chabel Chowk Kathmandu. It is a whole day's drive from Kathmandu to Dhap village, a journey offers beautiful Mountain View, rice terraced, meandering Sun Koshi River,, and dotted countryside. We are driving on jarring dusty and paved roads. We often stop along the highway for the meals and toilet. The drive until Ghurmi is on lower elevation then drive upwards on subtropical climate zone to Dhap Bazar.
Day 02: Trek from Dhap to Japre Gompa (2,850 m/9,348 Ft)

The first-day Pikey peak trek trail contains up and down thru the forest and villages. The trek continuously on dusty jeep path descending to Sigane village where can see mixed ethnic groups. Often walk on the rough road and also possible to follow the walking trail on the ridge and bushes. As ramble into thick bushes can encounter different types of birds and also get a view of diverse landscapes. On arrival Japral Gomba can see greeneries setting on the bottom of snow-capped Numbur peak and mountain range. A small village is occupied by the Sherpa tribe and has a beautiful monastery.
Day 03: Trek from Japre Gompa to Pikey Peak Base Camp (3,730 m/12,234 Ft)

We slightly climbed up throughout rhododendron forest, and yak pasture. From February to May rhododendron are blossom in Rainbow color. Also possible to encounter the Himalayan monal, one of the colorful pheasants. Beyond the Bhulbule village does not have permanent existence. But the lodge and guesthouse house operate throughout the trekking season. After walked-out from the forest, the trail follows on the large pasture in the ridge. Also, walk a side of lineup ancient Mani wall and shattered stupa. Then walking on a grassy hill to Pikey base camp with sights exceptional view of Everest region. Few traditional accommodations are available at Pikey peak base camp also has a small cheese factory.
Day 04: Pikey Base Camp - Pikey Peak (4,170 m) - Jase Bhanjyang - Junebesi (2,670 m/8,757 Ft)

Early morning ascends to Pikey peak summit with a gentle climb on the sloppy mountain. The Pikey peak summit is strewn with five-colour Buddhist flags. The view from Pikey peak top is outstanding, you will see a panoramic mountain range above the diverse landscapes. The mountain view includes Kanchenjunga in the far east and the Annapurna range in the far west. After see the sunrise on the snow peak trek descends to Jase Bhanjyang and stops for the breakfast. The trek onward with little ascending to ridge then trail contour inside rhododendron forest to Junebesi. Junbesi village, the beautiful Sherpa villages en route.
Day 05: Junebesi - Ringmu - Nunthala (2,200 m/11,480 Ft)

A trek to Nunthala village route stretches into the beautiful shrubs, pasture, jungle, and villages. The path provides colorful landscapes in lush and greeneries valleys. The Sailung Danda delivers breathtaking Mountain View and distinct landscapes series. Then follow the downhill trail on the mount and passes Sailung village to Ringmo village. Ringmo village where the Phaplu/Salleri route joint, from here steady climb up into the forest to Takshindo La. Before descending down to Nunthala discover Taksindu Monastery.
Day 06: Nunthala - Juving - Khari Khola - Bupsa (2,220 m/7,281 Ft)

From Nunthala steep descend on the bank of Dudh Koshi river then ascend through rice terrace. Around here feel steamy because the elevation dropped to tropical till Khari Khola. Now steady climb up to Khari Khola village also visit sacred Pema Namding monastery before the lunch break at the village. We then cross the large Khari Khola village after the follow the uphill trail to Bupsa village. We also see traditional water mills grinding grains.
Day 07: Bupsa - Kari La - Puiya - Chutok La - Surke (2,290 m/7,510 Ft)

We set off from the lodge then keep climbing into the forest to Kari La pass (3180 m) via Kharte village. It is a long ascend through the forest continuously passing local teashop. The Kari La pass offers dissimilar sceneries of the river, magnificent landscapes, and mountains. From here follow flattened trail on the mixed vegetation forest o Paiya village. The path towards Surke relatively easier than before lunch. Our flat trail cross Chutok La then descends on a grit path to Surke village. From Chutok la we view the flight landing at Lukla airport. Then passes Pakhepani to Surke Village right below Lukla airport.
Day 08: Surke - Chheplung - Phakding (2,610 m/8,560 Ft)

From Surke village gradually ascend to Chhuplung village where the Lukla road joint. Now the Everest base camp trek route became crowded because many trekkers fly to Lukla. Our trail to Phakding passes different villages Tado Koshi, Ghat, and reaches camp. The route is strewn with Buddhist flavor like painting and carving/sculpture on the rock. Also frequently encounter stupa, chorten, painted mani wall, prayer wheel.
Day 09: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,283 Ft)

A trek to Namche Bazar consists of a steady and steep incline with crossing long iron bridges. We entering Sagarmatha national and it protects and preserves the fragile mountain enviroment. You need to check your trek permits at Monju gate where the park begins. Then crossing the famous Hillary bridge on the Dudh Koshi river. Now the trail steeper into the forest and get a first glance of Mount Everest before arriving Namche. Upon arrival, the lodge settles the accommodation and then walks through the town. If arriving here on a weekend, explore the Saturday market. Short ascend to the viewpoint to view sunset at Mount Everest and Mount Ama Dablam.
Day 10: Acclimatization at Namche Bazay

Our acclimatization day en route of Everest Classic Trek and we do a side trip to Hotel Everest Viewpoint which is a beautiful viewpoint. We have to climb steeply up to Everest View Hotel, throughout the route offers a superb view of the mountains and picturesque Namche Bazar. You have excellent sights of the highest peak of the world Mount Everest (8,848 m) along with beautiful Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Tabiche, Thamserku, and Kangtega. Also possible to extend the trip to twin Sherpa village Khumjung and Khunde then visit a monastery where can see the skull of Yeti. After all, return to Namche Bazar.
Day 11: Namche Bazar to Tengboche Monastery (3,840 m/12,660 Ft)

We begin trek walking throughout the Namche Village, following a flatten path from the end of the Namche Bazar. Trekking on the wide path passing several white-painted Buddhist stupas also enjoys great mountain panorama to Kyangjuma village. A trail led downhill to the bank of the Dudh Koshi River, Phunge Thenga and can see prayer wheel driven by water. From here sharp climb up on the rhododendron forest to the Tengboche monastery. The large Tengboche monastery set on the top also gets a superb mountain view of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Kangtega, Taboche, etc. Also, attend monks' evening prayer at Tengboche monastery.
Day 12: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,440 M/14,563 FT)

In the morning see glorious sunrise on Mount Everest then after breakfast, the trail does downhill into the rhododendron forest via Deboche to Imja Khola. We passing the nunnery monastery and reincarnation monks' private monastery at Pangboche. Pangboche village has huge potatoes farm bottom of Mount Ama Dablam. The further trailhead to Dingboche village on the large meadow via Samar village then arrives quaint Sherpa village, Dingboche.
Day 13: Side trek to Nangkartsang Viewpoint

Another acclimatization day during our Everest Classic Trek, several side trips can do from Dingboche Village. We suggest you choose Nangkartsang Viewpoint for a day trip which is a rapid climb to 5000 m above sea level. The viewpoint offers an excellent view of Mount Makalu, Island Peak, Ama Dablam with turquoise glacier lake, and the large alpine valley. After achieving the goal-reaching summit returned to Dingboche village.
Day 14: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910 m/16,104 Ft)

The trek begins after breakfast, short ascend bring us little ridge and take a picture of ancient Chorten with mount Ama Dablam. Trailhead Duglha with a gentle climb up on the moraine of Khumbu glacier. The strong climb on the rocky trail to Duglha la pass that exposes grand mountain view also visits an old-style cemetery of Everest summiteer. Then about an hour walking on the moraine to Lobuche village.
Day 15: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,365 m/17,593 Ft) back to Gorak Shep (5,180 m/16,990 Ft)

We start trek earlier than any other day because of after arriving our camp Gorakshep side trip to Everest base camp, the highlights of the voyage. Our hike continues onto the glacier against the cold breeze and follows the flatten trail till Lobuche Pass. A further route to Gorakshep village is onto the moraine where maximum grit, shingles and stony. We eat early lunch upon arrival at Gorakshep and keep luggage in the room. Trek commences to Everest base camp along the Khumbu glacier and gets the nearest scenery of glacier and Khumbu icefall. During the post-winter season, many expeditions are settled to create history. After achieving the goal to Everest Base Camp retrace to Gorakshep for overnight.
Day 16: Side trip to Kala Patthar (5,645 m), trek to Pheriche (4,320 m/14,169 Ft)

An early morning side trek to Kala Patthar viewpoint (5,645 m), and rewards a close-up view of Mount Everest. The reason for reaching the Kala Patthar summit earlier because to see the fiery rays touch the pinnacle of the mountains. Mount Everest is not seen from Everest base camp and trekkers climb to Kala Patthar to view the mountain range.
The Kala Patthar approaches a 360-degree view of the Himalayan.
Including Nuptse, Pumori, Khumbutse, Ama Dablam, Lobuche peak, Cholatse,
Tabuche etc.
Then retrace to Gorakshep and after breakfast descend on the moraine of Khumbu glacier.
Then passes Lobuche and Dughla after that finally arrive Pheriche. It
is a huge descent from Gorakshep to Pheriche and possible to have good
sleep in the night.
Day 17: Pheriche to Namche Bazar (3,450 m/11,316 Ft)

We head down to Namche Bazar, visiting Upper Pangboche and exploring the oldest Buddhist monastery of the Khumbu. Then walk down and cross the Imja river and climb up to Tengboche monastery. A trail again leads down to Dudh Koshi river after that climb up to Namche. The view of the Himalayas, diverse landscapes and the culture display is amazing. cultural.
Day 18: Namche Bazar to Lukla (2,860 m/9,380 Ft)

The last day of the Everest base camp trek and returning to Lukla village where the trek began. A trek descends through a forest, villages, and crossing suspension bridges. From Tado Koshi gradually climbing up till Lukla. After arriving Lukla take a hot shower and then in the evening Everest base camp successful party with a crew.
Day 19: Fly back to Kathmandu (1,350 m/4,428 Ft)

We follow our flight to Kathmandu, a 45-minute flight that provides a close-up mountain view. Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, transfer to hotel by private vehicle. In the evening the host organizes a farewell dinner at a Nepalese restaurant. Where can watch live Nepalese culture and eat authentic Nepalese meals.
