The out and it over land trip take all the measure touristic attractions places in Tibet. The your tour start from Kathmandu driving along the Bhotekoshi river with lush and green landscape. After sort-out the immigration drive goes in the ravine and get mesmerizing waterfalls to Nyalam. Onward from Nyalam your journey continue on 4000m/13120ft above sea level. The country is amaze of the people life style, massive mountain above 8000m including Shiashapangma, Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu and numerous other peaks. You will be visited Rongbuk.Shigatse, Gyantse, Sakya and finally Lhasa. All the city has amazing monasteries from different sects of Buddhism. Detail Itinerary of 12 Days Lhasa EBC Overland Tour

Day 01 Kathmandu to Nyalam 3900m/12792ft 150km and 6hrs drive.
We departure early morning from Kathamndu, your scenic drive continue along the Bhote koshi river with spectacular landscape of green and lush. Once we arrive at Kodari, we proceed for departure and after crossing friendship bridge we proceed for immigrations. We take our Tibetan transport with Tibetan guide and drive continue passing first city of Tibet Zhangmu where guide need to make official permits. Drive continue passing a ravine and then wide valley. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Acclimatization Day.
Today are doing acclimatization at Nyalam. After breakfast,we are doing a trekking with pack lunch and water. We are climbing a nearly 500m up then Nyalam. Our path lead steep-up through the Yak pasture with spectacular view of barren and mountains. We often meet Yak along the trekking trail. once we reach at ridge, we retracing to Nyalam. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Nyalam to Old Tingri 4348m/14260ft 217km and 5hrs drive.
Today our drive continue along the Bhotekoshi river up to Nyalam pass 5240m from the here you will see superb mountain view in 270º of border Himalayas. Now drive descending and driving continue to Tingir a big Yak pasture where we meets Nomads. We have a superb view of the Mt. Everest, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Makalu and numerous other mountains. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04 Tingri to Shigatse 3838m/12588ft 237km 4hrs drive.
Our drive continue and passing Latse and than we visit Sakya Monastery which in en route of our drive. Sakya Monastery is very popular and It was found in 1268 AD. Than we resume our drive to Shitgatse. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Shigatse to Lhasa 3658/11998ft 268km and 5hrs drive.
First we go to explore Tashilhunpo Monastery and home of Panche lama. We than continue our driving to Lhasa. the drive provide amazing view of "Roof of the world". Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Lhasa Sightseeing.
Today we have a full day sightseeing around the Lhasa. First we go to visit Drak Yerpa monastery which will take 3hrs than after lunch we go to visit Sera Monastery where we will see debating. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 Lhasa Sightseeing.
Today is your second sightseeing day in Lhasa. We are going to visit one of the most famous monument in the world Potala palace build in 637 AD. From top of the palace will get superb view of Lhasa than walk to Jokhang temple build in 7th century and walk around the market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 Lhasa to Gyantse 3950m/12850ft 260km 5hrs drive.
Our journey start after breakfast and drive continue passing a beautiful tranquil turquoise waters of Yamdrok lake, Karo-La glacier and than we explore Gyantse where we will see Kumkum stupa and Phalkor Monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 Gynatse to Sagya 4250m/13972ft 250km 5hrs drive.
Today our drive continue on friendship highway passing a second biggest city Shigatse in Tibet. Just few km in the 13th century, the monastic town of Sakya emerged as an important center of Buddhist scholarship. With Mongolian military support, the Sakya lamas became rulers of all Tibet. Sakya Monastery is built in 1268. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 Sagya to Rongbuk 4,980m/16,340ft 255km 6hrs drive.
Our journey start after breakfast. Drive continue on highway passing Latse, Tingri and than arrive at Rongbuk. Rongbuk claimed to be highest Monastery in the world. The Monastery was found in 1902 AD and its is part of Nyingmapa sect in Tibetan Buddhism. Now the Monastery is look after by nuns. The Monastery provides great view of North face of Mt. Everest and Rongbuk glacier and Everest base camp nearby Monastery just 8km. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 11 Rongbuk to Zhangmu 1750m/5740ft 260km and 8hrs drive.
Our drive continue on friendships highway to Zhangmu. Than we walk around the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 Zhangmu to Kathmandu. 125km and 5hrs drive.
Drive continue to border than we complete our departure. Your Tibetan guide not allow to cross to border and bye to your guide. Our official representatives will pick you up from immigration of Nepal. we have 5hrs drive to Kathamndu. Overnight at hotel.

Diamox(commonly prescribed as Acetazolamide) 125 or 250mg tablets for altitude sickness. Please talk to with trek leader before taking medicine.
1Small personal sized first-aid kit with blister treatments such as mole skin, band aides, 
anti-infection ointments, etc. 
Your guides will have more extensive medical gear, but you should have the basics for general use.
