Introduction

Ghorepani poon hill trek is easiest and one of the best seller trek all throughout the year in Annapurna region. The journey gives you an opportunity to walk through and explore the life of different ethnic groups of Nepalese people. Then you can collect life time experience to walk through dense blooming rhododendron forest, encounter wild Apes monkey and different short of birds, hear the roaring of barking deer in middle of jungle and by the time you reach at Ghorepani. You will be Surprised and glad to be here to see the superb Himalayas view.

The journey starts from city of God & Goddess, Mystery,Kathmandu valley. Then scenic drive on Prithivi highway and 3hrs raft on Trishuli river gives you more excite in your voyage. Then we reach at second touristic city, Pokhara where the city is over-looking by lakes and Himalayas and our driving continues to Nayapul. The trek starts from Nayapul, trekking trail ascending reverse of Burangi river passing a beautiful landscapes, multi-culture diversity and walking throughout pleasant dense forest of rhododendron to Gorepani then Poon Hill. Poon Hill, It provides breathtaking sunrise views of Himalayas on 270º degree. Covering Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna range, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare and numerous others mountains. The first sun ray of day golden color goes in the highest peaks on among the other peaks is spectacular. 
The treks lead you through the different ethnic groups villages and get a taste of different cultures. Explore the villages of Gurkhas, the Gurkha regiments and typical villages of Gurung people. Trek descending follow the mardi river to Nayapual. Drive back to Pokhara.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1350m. Overnight at hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathamndu valley. Overnight at Hotel

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara 840m- 7hrs drive. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Pokhara to Ulleri 2120m- 5hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 05: Ulleri to Gorepani 2810m- 5hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 06: Gorepani to Tatiana 2610m- 5hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 07: Tadapani to Ghandrunk 1950m- 4hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 08: Ghandrunk to Pokhara- 4hrs Trek then 1 ½ hrs drive.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu 30minute flight or 7hrs Drive. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Departure.

Detail Itinerary


Detail Itinerary of 10Days Poon Hill Ghandruk Trek.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1350/4428ft.
Onarrival at Tribhuvan international airport, you'll be received by our official representative then transfer to hotel and.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Singhtseeing.
Our guide will take you into the valley and show the monuments which are listed in UNESCO world heritages site: 
Bodhanath Stupa: One of the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal 
Pashupatinath Temple: This Hindu shrine is located on the banks of the Bagmati River where dead is cremate daily.
Durbar Square: Ancient royal palaces and home of the living Goddess.
Swayabhunath: Also known as the monkey temple, from here you will get a panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley. The swayambhunath temple bends 2 religions Hinduism and Buddhism.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara 840m/2755ft- 7hrs by overland. 
A 7hrs scenic drive starts from Kathmandu, it goes smoothly on Prithivi highway with stunning mountains views of Langtang Range, Ganesh Himal and Manaslu Himal with beautiful landscape. Drive goes fellow Trishuli river where you will do WHITE WATER RAFTING starting from Charaudi, it continues for 16km after rafting and lunch drive continues to Pokhara.

Day 04: Pokhara - Ulleri 2120m/6950ft- 4-5hrs Trek.
1:30 hours drive starts from Pokhara to Nayapul, drive goes through the Naudanda from here we will see panoramic views from Ganesh Himal from Dhaulagiri range, drive continues to Nayapul. Trek goes through the beautiful village with paddies landscape. The trail goes gentle up pass the Birethanti, Ramghai, Hille, Thikhedhunga then climbing steep up and we will be enjoying to see fine views of deep valley the stone step trail brings you at ridge known as Ulleri.

Day 05: Ulleri - Gorepani 2810/9215ft- 5hrs Trek.
Today the walk goes through the dense rhododendron forest and crossing couple of stream. Most of trail is stone step up to Gorepani. We might see the Ape monkey and hear roaring of the barking deer in the middle of jungle. By the time reaching at Gorepani will see sunset on white snowcapped mountain just front of you including western Nepal highest mountain known as Mt. Dhaulagiri(8167m/26788ft), Nilgiri, Dhampus peak, Tukche peak, Baraha shikher, Annapurna south, that will be lifetime unforgettable moment.

Day 06: Gorepani – Poon hill 3210/10528ft – Tadaapani 2610m/8560ft- 5hrs Trek.
Today, we wake you up early morning then 45minute walk to Poon Hill at elevation of 3210m above the sea level. This view point offers brilliant view of sunrise over High Himalaya's in 270º including Annapurna range, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Baraha shikhar and massive valley's of Mustang. After taking a photographs retrace to Gorepani. The trail onwards to Tadapani, ascending up through dense rhododendron forest to Deurali then descending and crossing streams couple times. finally short climb up through in the forest brings you at Tadapani.

Day 07: Tadapani – Ghandrunk 1950m/6396ft- 4hrs Trek.
Today we have short and easy trek to Ghandrunk. The trail descends through the dense forest with the great views of Mt. Fishtail to Ghandrunk – Gurung village, Ghandrunk is known as Gurkha's – British army battalion. They have their own culture, costume, dialect and lifestyle an afternoon walk around in the village and go to visit the Gurung Museum.

Day 08: Ghandrunk – Nayapul – Pokhara- 4hrs Trek then 1 ½ hrs by driving.
The beautiful Gurung village on the way to Syauli Bazaar then the trail lead you easy level walk to Birethanthi and Nayapul then drive to Pokhara. At evening have dinner with trekking crew then gratitude them and bye.
OVernight at hotel.

Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu 25minute flight.
We have half day sightseeing in Pokhara, we go to visit such as a David's fall – Amazing waterfall, Barahi Temple – Boar temple in Island of Phewa lake, Bindabashini Temple – Hindu shrine, Cave – bats and statue in the cave. Seti River - Gorge of Pokhara. We will have late afternoon flight to Kathmandu.

Day 10: Departure:
According to your flight shedule, you'll be transffered to the international airport.
