Introduction

Gorepani Poon hill trek is easiest and one of the best seller trek all throughout the year in the Annapurna region. The trek starts from Pokora the city of lake and the land of mountains. The trekking trail follows the Burangi river, passing beautiful paddies field landscapes, multi-culture diversity and walking throughout stunning dense forest of rhododendron to Gorepani. Then climb to Poon Hill for a breathtaking sunrise view on 270º degrees, covering Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare and numerous other mountain. The first sun rays of the day in golden color shines in the highest peaks gives a spectacular view. The blooming of the rhododendron is spectacular as well.

The trek leads you through the different ethnic groups villages where you get a taste of different cultures. Explore the villages of Gurkhas, the Gurkh regiments and the typical villages of the Gurung people. On descending you follow the Madi river to Nayapual. From here its a drive back to Pokhara.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1350m. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara 850m- 7hrs drive. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04: Pokhara – Ulleri 2100m- 4-5hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 05: Ulleri – Gorepani 2770m- 5hrs Trek. Overnight guesthouse.

Day 06: Gorepani – Tadapani 2590m- 5hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 07: Tadapani – Jinu Danda 1680m- 5hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 08: Jinu Danda – Pothana 2140m- 6hrs Trek. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 09: Pothana – Pokhara 850m- 4hrs Trek and 30minute drive. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 10: Pokhara – Kathmandu 7hrs drive. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Departure.

Detail Itinerary

Detail Itinerary of 11Days Poon Hill and Hot Spring Trek.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1350m/4428ft.
On your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport. Our official representative will be rereceived then transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing. 
Today you visit the city of god and goddess, the monumnets an listed in the UNESCO world's herittage sites. 
Kathmandu Durbar-Square
Pashupatinath Temple
Bauddhanath Stupa
Swayambhunath
Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara 850m/2788ft- 7hrs by driving.
We have 7hrs drive on the Prithivi highway passing through beautiful landscapes. We have 3hrs stunning white-water rafting on Trishuli river. While arriving to Pokhara, the drive provides superb mountain view of Annapurna range and picturesque Machhapuchhare. The beautiful Phewa lake is on lake side where people go to do boating and get the finest views of Himalayas.

Day 04: Pokhara – Uller 2100m/6888- 4-5hrs Trek.
Today our journey starts from Pokhara with 41Km drive, the drive offers the best view of Annapurna Himalayan range with terraced landscapes and villages. Our treks began from Nayapul, the trial goes gradual up and follows along east bank of Bhurungdi khola with scenery of waterfalls, terraced of paddies, typical Nepalese houses, green forest, dotted house on the hills. After lunch we have a steady up throughout dotted villages to Ulleri with the scenery of natural beauty.

Day 05: Ulleri – Gorepani 2780m/9118ft- 5-6hrs Trek.
Today is a tough day of your trek ascending to 1300mtrs. As you trek along you pass typical villages, wide landscape, crossing a suspension bridges and ascending to Uller. From Ulleri the trail takers you through lush green forest where you may see wild animals and colorful birds before reaching Gorepani. From Gorepani you will see the beautiful Himalayan range.

Day 06: Gorepani – Tadapani 2590/8495ft- 4-5hrs Trek.
Today is an exiting day of your trek. Early morning is a trek to Poon Hill the view point where you see the awesome sunrise view over the Himalayan range: including western region highest mountain Dhaulagiri, Annapurna range, Nilgiri range, Machhapuchhare, Manaslu and other peaks. After breakfast the trek takes you up hill through dense forest Deurali and then descending to Tadapani.

Day 07: Tadapani – Jinu Danda 1680m/5510ft- 5hrs Trek.
We will see sun rise on Annapurna range, Fishtail and other mountains. Today the trail descends through the forest, villages and crop farms with view of landscapes and mountains. After crossing the suspension bridge, the trail goes gradual-up for an hours and descends to Jhinu Danda.

Day 08: Jinu Danda – Pothana 2130m/6986ft- 6hrs Trek.
Today the trail descends crossing the suspension bridge, uphill into the jungle to Landrunk. From Landrunk the trail still ascends gradually through the villages, paddy fields and lush green forest to Pothan with great view of the Modi river and great mountain view.

Day 09: Pothana – Pokhara 850m/2788ft- 4hrs Trek.
From Pothana you will see the view of the majestic Himalayan mountains. After breakfast the trek takes you down through the jungle to Dhampus, continuing down to Phedi where you catch the vehicle to Pokhara. As today is the last day of the trek there will be a fare-well dinner with the trekking crew.

Day10: Pokhara to Kathmandu 7hrs by driving.
A 7hrs scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, will gives you spectacular view of the landscapes, villages and Himalayan ranges. Since today is your last day in Nepal, you will be taken at the Ethnic Nepalise restaurant where you will see cultural programm at dinner.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Departure.
According to your international flight schedule, you will be transffered to the international airport.
