Introduction

The Nagi-Narchyang trekking trail is a newly opened community based trekking routes in the Annapurna Region. The trail passes through beautiful villages, massive green valley, high passes and rough landscape with a unique culture and life style of the Magar people who resides in the Annapurna region. This trek offers some of the best views Annapurna range peaks, the Dhaulagiri and other amazing snow-capped peaks.

The trail spreads nearly 60km throughout the Annapurna conservation area passing the popular Annapurna circuit trekking trail at Chitare, crossing the Kaligandaki river.It continues uphill passing through typical Nepali villages then entering in the dense forest of Rhododendrons. The jungle is colourful in Spring with the blooming of different verities of Rhododendrons. As the trail continues you get the view of amazing sunrise and sunset on the Himalayan mountains.

Detail Itinerary of 16 Days Nagi Narchen Trekking.

Day 01: Arriving in Kathmandu 1350m/4428ft.
Upon your arrival at Tribuwan International Airport. Our official representatives will pick-you up from airport. Then drive to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Full day sightseeing in UNESCO world Heritage Sites such as at Pasupatinath Temple, Swayambhu known as Monkey Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square – home of the living goddess and Bouddha Stupa. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Galeshwor 1170m/3837ft 8/9hrs drive.
Departure an early morning from hotel. The scenic drive continues on Prithuvi passing typical Nepalese houses with life style of Nepalese people and then seen raft on Trishuli river which makes your drive more enjoy able. Once you reach near to Pokhara, will be seen amazing panoramic mountain views. Then after passing the Pokhara drive continues along the Kaligandaki river to Galeshwor. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04: Galeshwor – Bans Kharka 1526m/5005ft 5/6hrs walk.
Trek start after breakfast, after crossing a suspension bridge of Kali gandaki river, trek continues on cultivate landscape and passing the such beautiful typical Nepalese villages. Overnight at community lodge.

Day 5: Banskharka to Nagi Village 2300m7544ft 6hrs walk.
After breakfast trek continues on through out forest then arrive at Nagi village. The village situated at top from here we can see superb Himalayas views of Dhaulagiri I-V, Annapurna south, Nilgiri, Tukuche peak and Dampush pass, most of local people doing animal husbandry and product orgamic food. They made handmade paper which is export to other country. At evening local mother group show their cultural show which is practising since their settlement started. Overnight at community lodge.

Day 06: Nagi village – Mohara hill 3300m/10824ft 5/6hrs walk.
An early morning seen stunning sunrise over the legendary Himalaya's then after breakfast we trek start, we walk throughout forest and village. We will have a pleasant and lifetime walk in forest we pass the animal husbandry and yak breeding centre, where they products yak cheese. Overnight at community lodge.

Day 07: Mahara Hill to pyari Baharani Tal 2668m/8750ft 5/6hrs walk.
The trek goes up and down throughout rhododendron forest. The trek offers stunning Mt. views of Dhaulagiri, Gurja peak, Tukuche peak and Chuchura peaks. Overnight at community lodge.

Day 08: Pyari Baharani to khibang 3660m/12004ft 5/6hrs walk.
The trail descending throughout rhododendron forest to beautiful Maagr village where we can see life style and customs of the Magar people. Overnight at community lodge.

Day 09 Khibang – Swata 2270m/7445ft 4/5hrs walk.
Trek start after breakfast, descending through the beautiful Magar villages who has a unique culture and their own life style in Nepal. After crossing streams gradual up brings you at beautiful village called Swata. Overnight at Community lodge.

Day 10: Swanta to Khopra 3660m/12004ft 5/6hrs walk.
Today trek start after breakfast, the trail ascending up passing cultivate land, shrub, dense forest, animal cattle then reached at Khopra, Khopra itself is view points, will be seen massive Kaligandaki valley with gorgeous Dhaulagiri range and world deepest gorge at bottom because of massive Mt. Dhaulagiri and Annapurna on both side. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 11: khopra - Narchyang 1510m/4952ft 4/5hrs walk.
The trail lead on gradual down on the pasture of animals, jungle and then cultivate landscape. The villages is very massive and impressive because of the house are made by stone and mud and all the house are attached each other. We can see the cultural show at evening on request. Overnight at home stay.

Day 12: Narchyang – Tapopani 1190m/3903ft 3/4hrs walk.
Descending down on rough trail and explore the Kaligandaki valley. Then see beautiful wild waterfall along the trekking trail. after crossing suspension bridge of Kali gandaki river arrive at Tatopani( hot spring) then just child out and take a bath in hot spring. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 13: Tatopani – Pokhara 820m/2689ft 5/6hrs drive.
The drive goes along the Kaligandaki river. Along the drive you will be seen wonderful scene. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Pokhara valley Sightseeing.
After breakfast we take you for half day sightseeing around the Pokhara such as Davis's fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Barahi temples then relax and child out. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: Pokhara – Kathmandu 1350m.
As your chosen if you take a flight will take 3o minute and by overland 6/7 hrs. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16: Departure.
After breakfast at hotel as your flight schedule transfer you at the Airport.

Detail Itinerary

Detail Itinerary of 10Days Laprak-Barpak and Lower Manaslu Trekking.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1350m/4428ft.
On arrive at Tribhuwa International airport our official representatives will meet you then transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing.
Your guided tour will start and visiting following places.
I. Boudhanath Stupa: One of the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal. It is decorated by the multi-coloured praying flags.
II. Pashupatinath Temple: This Hindu shrine is located on banks of the holy Bagmati River where dead bodies are cremated daily.
III. Durbar Square: Ancient royal palace and home of the living Goddess.
IV. Swayabhunath Temple: Also known as the monkey temple with a great view of the Kathmandu valley. This is a blend of Hinduism and Buddhism religions within the same premises.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Gatlang 2340m/7675ft- 8hrs drive.
Its an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Gatlang. The drive along the highway offers a scenic view of landscape, typical Nepalese villages and the Himalayan mountains until your reach Gatlang.
Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04: Glang – Somdang 3270m/10760Ft- 5/6hrs Trek.
The trek starts today with an ascending trail through the dense pine forest with blooming rhododendron, animal shed reaching Khurpu ridge. It descends passing a stunning waterfall and spotting some wild animals. Somdang is a place for row materials like copper, zinc, tin and rubies.
Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 05: Somdang – Pangsang 3842/1264ft- 4hrs Trek.
The trail is a gentle up passing yak pastures and dense forest reaching Pangsang. From Pangsang you get a spectacular view of the Himalayan range: Annapurna range, Manaslu, Ganesh himal, Langtang range and many other peaks.
Overnight in a tented camp.

Day 06: Pangsang – Sertung 1875m/6188Ft- 5/6hrs Trek.
The trail descends through dense pine and rhododendron forest with an awesome view of the Ganesh Himal range reaching the large Tamang village of Tipling. At Tipling you can visit the ancient Buddhist monastery known as Bon. As the trek continues you pass by a waterfall before reaching your home-stay. You will be entertained by the locals such as horse and shaman dance. Overnight at home-stay.

Day 07: Sertung Gaun – Neber Gaun 2220m /7425Ft- 5/6hrs Trek.
At breakfast there will be a farewell ceremony by the villagers. The trek continues descending through the beautiful Gurung and Tamang villages reaching the natural hot springs where you can take dip to refresh the aches of your body. The trail then ascends through the forest to Neber, the foot hills of the Himalayas.
Overnight at home-stay.

Day 08: Neber Gaun – Lapchet Gaun 1850m/6070Ft- 5/6hrs Trek.
From Neber the trail leads on through dense forest where you may see wild animals before reaching the ridge at Timla Danda. From here you get a spectacular view of the Himalayan range and massive deep valley. From the ridge is a steep descend to Lapchet Gaun.
Overnight at home-stay.

Day 09: Lapchet Gaun – Khading 2025m/6660Ft- 4/5hrs Trek.
Today the trail is an easy trek through farming land with view of more typical Nepali villages. After crossing wooden bridge, you trek up to the large Gurung village, Khading. Overnight at home-stay.

Day 10: Khading Gaun – Magni Danda 3000m/9840Ft- 5/6hrs Trek.
The trail takes you up passing Khading village, farming lands, animal sheds and dense forest to Magni Danda. From Magni Danda you will see wider view of valley and the Himalayan range.
Overnight at tented camp.

Day 11: Magni Danda – Manbhu village 1200m/3935Ft- 4/5hrs Trek.
Its an early morning view of the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayan range. After breakfast, the trek descends through dense forest with blooming rhododendron, passing the Nepali villages with beautiful landscape reaching Manbu village.
Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 12: Manbhu village – Arughat 750m/2460ft- 4hrs Trek.
The last day of your trek, the trail descends passing beautiful landscape of paddy fields and villages to Arughat.
Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 13: Arughat – Kathamndu 1365m/4475Ft- 7hrs drive.
The scenic rough drive take you through the villages to Dhading Beshi, continuing on Prithi highway to Kathmandu. At Kathmandu there will be fare-well dinner with the trekking crew.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Rest in Kathmandu.
Today is spare day in Kathmandu.
Overnight at Hotel.

Day 15: Departure.
According to your flight Schedule, you will be transferred to the international airport.

Gurung Heritage trekking trail and Ghalegaun village.

A middle of Annapurna conservation area is inhabited by a typical ethic group called Gurung. The Gurung Heritage trekking trail leads to Gurung villages. Namely the Ghalegaun village was a winner village of home-stay hospitality in 2007. Gurung heritage trail explores the Gurung music and Culture where guests will be entertained by cultural show like Ghantu, Sorathi, Krishna Charitra, Thado Bhaka etc. Gurung people have a unique life style with their typical culture. Ghalegaun people are the honey hunters in Nepal, collecting wild honey from deep jungle twice in a year. Gurung Heritage trekking trail is simple and non-strenuous through the native gurung villages at the foot of the Annapurna Himalaya range spreading to the center of Annapurna region. The trek can be done according to a trekker"s holiday period of stay from 4days to 12days. We offer 11Days trek itinerary of Gurung Heritage and Ghalegaun village trek and best season to do Gurung Heritage trail is in between October to May.

The trek starts from Kathmandu/Pokhara, through the gentle hill of Annapurna Conservation region, ending at Pokhara.  Along the way the view is very scenic right to Beshisahar/Khudi, a get way of the Annapurna circuit trek and Manang valley.The trekking trail leads through rice plantation, into the cluster of the gurung villages and breathless view of Annapurna Himalayan range.This trek is suitable for any age category and especially for the travelers who are interested in the Nepali culture and hospitality of the Gurungs. On arriving to the village, trekkes are welcomed with garland by the locals wearing their colorful costumes with rhythm of tradition music and dance and will reside with a host family for the most memorable Nepal home-stay. The rooms are clean with clean squat toilets. The food consumed is mostly organic (home grown).The head lady of the house called Aama meaning Mother does cooking. Trekkers get to see the kitchen work of the village life. Nepalese cuisine consists of Rice, Lentil soup, Spinach, Potatoes, Gundruk Achar (Dry spinach Pickle) and special welcome nettle soup. They also have flour paste made of millet, barley, corn. After dinner with your home family, you will be entertain by local music in community hall which is organized by the Mother group.

There will be a village walk around to see and greet other families around, not forgetting memorable pictures to be clicked.

The trek ends in Thumsiko, then a drive on back to Kathmandu/Pokhara.

Detail Itinerary of 11Days Ghalegaun and Gurung Heritage Trail.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1350m/4428ft. 
On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received by official representative then transfer to hotel. 
Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing
Today you have full sightseeing in Kathmandu valley which are listed in world UNESCO Heritage Sites such as 
Pasupatinath Temple: Cremate of Dead body.
Swayambhunath: The confluence between the Hinduism and Buddhism. 
Durbar Square: home of the living goddess and fine Newari Architectures. 
Buddha Stupa: One of the largest stupa in the world.

Day 03: Kathmandu - Besishahar 790m/2590ft- 6hrs drive. 
Today we drive from Kathmandu valley along the Prithivi highway with spectacular sceneries and great views of the Himalayan ranges. The drive goes for 6hrs and bus stop for breakfast, Lunch before reaching Khudi. Khudi is small village confluence between Marshyandi river and Khudi river, most of people are gurung.
Overnight at guest house.

Day 04: Besishahar – Ghalegaun 2100m/6888ft- 6hrs Trek. 
The trail to Ghalegaun ascends, passing through typical Nepalese villages, cropped landscape, great view of massive mountains and the giant Marshyandi valley. While climbing up in the lush green forest we pass the secret goddess temple, sights of some wild animals. On arrival, trekkers will be welcomed by local villagers in their colourful costumes dancing and singing.
Overnight at home-stay.

Day 05: Ghalegaun – Bhujung 1700m/5576ft- 3hrs Trek.
This morning we see the awesome sunrise over the Himalayan mountain. After breakfast its fare-well to the villagers/trekkers with the fare-well ceremony. As we continue with the trek, we walk along animal pastures, scrubs reaching Bhujung- biggest Gurung village in Nepal. After dinner the local Gurung mother group will show the ethnic culture show. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 06: Bhujung – Pasgaun 1900/6232ft- 5hrs Trek.
The trail descends through villages, paddy cultivated land to Bhujung river where you see the water grain and local hydro power. As we trek up hill the trail takes us to a mesmerising water. The trail continues along villages and into the dense forest where we will hear the sound of barking Deer. We then reach at the ridge which is the highest point(2500m/8200ft) of the Gurung Heritage Trail. from here we descend to Pasgaun.
Overnight at home-stay.

Day 07: Pasgaun - Pakhrikot 1400m/4592ft- 5hrs Trek.
The trail today descends through villages, grassy hills, Oak trees, all the way to Bagaichha river. After crossing the bridge, we ascend through paddies filed, beautiful villages to Ravi Danda. As we trek gradually up hill, we pass through scrubs to Pakhrikot. After dinner the local Gurung mother group will show the ethnic culture show.

Day 08: Pakhrikot – Pokhara 850m/2788ft- 3hrs Trek & drive to Pokhara. 
Its an early morning for an awesome view of sunrise over the Himalayan mountains. After breakfast we descend through beautiful landscapes of the Himalayas, crossing the same stream many times reaching Thumsikot. From here we board the local bus to Pokhara. While travelling in the bus we see the famous Begnas lake surrounded by greens. As today is the last day of the trek there will be a fare-well dinner with the trekking crew.

Day 09: Pokhara Sightseeing. 
After breakfast you will be a sightseeing of Pokhara valley.

Guptesware Cave: A Hindu temple in the cave.
Barahi Temple: A temple on the Island with a great view of the Himalayan range.
Bindabashini Temple: A Hindu Goddess temple.
Bat Cave: Bats in the cave.

Day 10: Pokhara - Kathamndu – 30minute scenic flight or 7hrs drive. 
A 30 minute scenic flight from pokhara to Kathmandu gives you a great view of the Himalayan mountains. On arrival at Kathmandu you will be transfered to your hotel.
Free time for shopping souvenirs for family and friends. You can do 7hrs scenic drive all way to Kathmandu.

Introduction


Ganesh Himal  and Ruby Valley Trek.
Ganesh Himal and Ruby valley trail is a newly opened trekking route in the Nepal Himalayas. This route is between two popular trekking routes, the Manaslu Circuit and Langtang Valley. The route combines three valleys and the scenery is spectacular. The trek starts from either Langtang valley or Budi Gandaki valley ascending to Ruby Valley. The trekking trail runs by the foothills of Ganesh Himal 7245mtrs, passing two main ethnic groups the Gurung and Tamang. This trek offers spectacular view of Himalayan ranges from Pansang Pass, Timla Danda and Mangni Danda. As the trek continues you will be entertained by the ethnic groups with their unique culture. Along the trek there will be natural hot springs where you can take a dip to relief of your muscle aches. This trek is considered a non-strenuous trek.

Detail Itinerary of 15Days Ganesh Himal and Ruby valley  Trekking.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1,350M/4,428FT.
On arrive at Tribhuwa International airport our official representatives will meet you then transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing.
Your guided tour will start and visiting following places.
I. Boudhanath Stupa: One of the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal. It is decorated by the multi-coloured praying flags.
II. Pashupatinath Temple: This Hindu shrine is located on banks of the holy Bagmati River where dead bodies are cremated daily.
III. Durbar Square: Ancient royal palace and home of the living Goddess.
IV. Swayabhunath Temple: Also known as the monkey temple with a great view of the Kathmandu valley. This is a blend of Hinduism and Buddhism religions within the same premises.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Gatlang 2,238M/7,340FT- 8hrs drive.
Its an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Gatlang. The drive goes along the Pasang Lhamu highway offers a scenic view of landscape, typical Nepalese villages and the Himalayan rranges until your reach Gatlang.

Day 04: Glang – Somdang 3,270M/10,760FT- 6hrs Trek.
The trek starts today with an ascending trail through the dense pine forest with blooming rhododendron, animal shed reaching Khurpu ridge. Then the path descends passing a stunning waterfall and spotting some wild animals. Somdang is a place for row materials like copper, zinc, tin and rubies.

Day 05: Somdang – Tipling 2,342M/7,681FT- 4hrs Trek.
The trail is a gentle up passing yak pastures and dense forest reaching Pangsang. From Pangsang you get a spectacular view of the Himalayan range: Annapurna range, Manaslu, Ganesh himal, Langtang range and many other peaks. The trail descends through dense pine and rhododendron forest with an awesome view of the Ganesh Himal range reaching the large Tamang village of Tipling. Day 06: Tipling – Sertung 1875M/6,188FT- 5hrs Trek.
 After breakfast the trek continues descends, you pass by a waterfall before reaching your Sertung home-stay. You will be entertained by the locals such as horse and shaman dance.

Day 07: Sertung Gaun – Neber Gaun 2,020M/6,625FT- 5hrs Trek.
At breakfast there will be a farewell ceremony by the villagers. The trek continues descending through the beautiful Gurung and Tamang villages reaching the natural hot springs where you can take dip to refresh the aches of your body. The trail then ascends through the forest to Neber, the foot hills of the Himalayas.

Day 08: Neber Gaun – Lapchet Gaun 1,850M/6,070FT- 6hrs Trek.
From Neber the trail leads on through dense forest where you may see wild animals before reaching the ridge at Timla Danda. From here you get a spectacular view of the Himalayan range and massive deep valley. From the ridge is a steep descend to Lapchet Gaun.

Day 09: Lapchet Gaun – Khading 2,025M/6,660FT- 5hrs Trek.
Today the trail is an easy trek through farming land with view of more typical Nepali villages. After crossing wooden bridge, you trek up to the large Gurung village, Khading. Overnight at home-stay.

Day 10: Khading Gaun – Magni Danda 3,000M/9,840FT- 5hrs Trek.
The trail takes you up passing Khading village, farming lands, animal sheds and dense forest to Magni Danda. From Magni Danda you will see wider view of valley and the Himalayan range.

Day 11: Magni Danda – Manbhu village 1,200M/3,935FT- 6hrs Trek.
Its an early morning view of the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayan range. After breakfast, the trek descends through dense forest with blooming rhododendron, passing the Nepali villages with beautiful landscape reaching Manbu village.

Day 12: Manbhu village – Arughat 7,50M/2,460FT- 4hrs Trek.
The last day of your trek, the trail descends passing beautiful landscape of paddy fields and villages to Arughat.

Day 13: Arughat – Kathamndu 1,365M/4,475FT- 7hrs drive.
The scenic rough drive take you through the villages to Dhading Beshi, continuing on Prithi highway to Kathmandu. At Kathmandu there will be fare-well dinner with the trekking crew.

The  drive start from Kathmandu and it continues Mudhe – Dhunge - Khola Kharka. The drive offers history and awesome Himalaya and Hill panoramas. Photograph the Sunset on Mount Gaurishankar (7134mts) before retiring for the evening and overnight at the community lodge at Kholakharka.

Day 04: Khola Kharka – Surkey 1850m/6068ft- 5hrs Trek.
Enjoy sunrise views of the Himalaya Panorama from Thulo Sailung while also visiting Sano Sailung sacred caves, Tiger rocks and Chhortens. Thulo Sailung is regarded by the Tamang people as the abode of the territorial deity, Sailung Phoi Sabda Karpo, ("Sailung's White Male Lord of the Earth"). Visit Rajveer Gomba and forest after lunch. Savour the evening Sherpa cultural Programme.

Day 05: Surkey – Dorangba 2035m/6675ft- 5hrs Trek.
We have easy and great trek day passing throughout cultivate farming and dense rhododendron forest. The trail offers breath-taking view of valley, mountains and dotted village on the hills to Dorangbha. The attraction of Dorangbha village is cultural performances showing by the monks from the monastery and Tamang selo showing by mother group of villagers.

Day 06: Dorangba – Dongme 1980m/6494ft- 5hrs Trek.
Trek towards Augleshwori hill with stunning views of the Himalaya and the rolling Mahabharat hills below then descending to lunch spout at Galba Bazaar before walking through the terraced landscape and pine forest to the sacred Khandadevi temple. Visit the temple and enjoy a tunning sunset view and sight of the Sun koshi River 1500m below. Relax with traditional Tamang Home-stay Hospitality.

Day 07: Dongme – Lughuhgat 600m/1968ft- 5hrs Trek.
Our trail lead up-hill to Hill Devi, Hill Devi itself is view point before descent to the village of Lubughat on bank of Sun koshi River, famous for adventure rafting. Learn traditional river fishing with the Majhi community and relax on the sandy beach beside the river. The local people heartily welcome to visitor and serve them typical local authentic dish of fresh fish caught from Sunkoshi river and after dinner they have typical cultural show for traveller, where they smearing mud all over the body and wearing leaves on the naked body and dance on rhythm of local music.

Day 08: Lubhughat – Dulikhel 1550m/5084ft- 1:20 drive to Kathmandu.
The trail continues on along the Sunkoshi river to Nepalthok. We often cross the suspension bridge, It takes nearly 1:20 minute then take a bus to Dhulikhel. The drive provides stunning view of landscapes and villages all the way to Dulikhel. Dulikhel located on at the ridge from here you will be seen sunrise and sunset on panoramic Himalayas including Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang range, Gaurishanker and Everest range.

Day 09: Dulikhel – Kathmandu
Today, we have a short drive to Kathmandu, while driving to Kathmandu we bypass the Bhaktapur Durbar-square. If you interest to visit Bhaktapur, we will stop and explore the Bhaktapur.

Imodium or Pepto Bismo capsules for upset stomach or diarrheal.
Diamox(commonly prescribed as Acetazolamide) 125 or 250mg tablets for altitude sickness. Please talk to with trek leader before taking medicine.
1Small personal sized first-aid kit with blister treatments such as mole skin, band aides,
anti-infection ointments, etc.
Your guides will have more extensive medical gear, but you should have the basics for general use.
